I didn't feel like I was very important to them. I to asked for bread when i got bread it was only rolls while the customers beside us were given variety of bread without asking for it.
The food was good but my party left hungry.
Food and service was good I got the best banana pudding ever tasted better than your mama's
Went to the holiday for dinner. Ordered the shrimp. I asked the waitress if I could add a catfish filet to my shrimp. The waitress was very polite and stated that the old lady that runs the place said that if I wanted to add a filet then I could buy the whole platter. In other words $12 for one filet.
Stingy and very ungrateful for the customers. We will not be back and will most definitely turn anyone else away from this place.
I had the "Friday special"; one meat, three sides, coconut pie, and sweet tea for $10.00 including tax.
Great value! Problem is, I had the country fried steak mashed potatoes, peas, baked beans and coconut pie with sweet tea.
Now I'm not one to give a "bad review", this is my first.
The country fried steak was one eighth of an inch thick and tasted like oil. The so-called mashed potatoes were lumpy but mixed half and half with instant potatoes and I don't know. Peas were ok, baked beans were not good. Everything was warm but not tastful.
Be your own judge eat there and let us know
Great food. Great service. Eat there when I can.
Food was good service was poor. I could have walked out with our food without paying. My waitress left had to chase her down to give tip, shift change and new waitress stayed in kitchen for quite a while. Checked on us once. Dang I probably could have took cash register too..
The food was good, very reasonably priced. 9.95 for a meat and 3 sides plus dessert you can't beat that. Plus it's homemade.
Good breakfast! It was a very pleasant dining experience. No frills, just good food. I want to try their lunch and dinner menu next.
New to the area my husband I thought we would try something new of the local fare. We decided to try Holiday Restaurant, because when we pass there it always had a decent number of people eating. As we sat down the waitress came over and took our drink order. Looking at the menu we decided to get the Sunday Lunch Special for 10.50. You get one meat and 3 sides and a dessert. I ordered the turkey and dressing with field peas, sweet potato souffle and yellow aka summer squash. When I got my food it was warm. The sweet potato souffle tasted like a bowl of sugar. I could not taste the sweet potato and it taste more like a pie it was so sweet. The summer squash souffle was more like scrambled eggs with the squash mixed in and then baked in a pan, no flavor. The field peas were bland and grainy like when chewed. I got a sliver of cranberry sauce from a can. The star of the show was suppose to be the turkey and dressing. Well it was more like dressing and a little bit of turkey. I got 2 cups of dressings and a 1/4 cup of shredded turkey. The dressing was very soggy and salty and the turkey was horrible. I will not be going back there at all. The coconut pie was more like pudding with egg white on top and beyond sweet. This was the worst place we have been too since we moved here 1 year ago. I had to give it a star otherwise I could not post.
One of the best home cooked meals I've ever had. Can't beat the fried chicken and Nanner pudding.
We had the special,,,food was fantastic, been here a lot of times,,food is always great,, the help are all friendly,, we'll be back,,
Good food for the price.
Food was good. Small wait. Sundays they have a great special! Waitress wasn't the sweetest but was attentive.
Great friendly atmosphere. Mika was a very attentive waitress. Food is cooked when you order but is worth the wait.
