Our room smelled awful! To take a shower that was not scolding hot we had to turn on bathroom cold faucet while running cold shower for ten mins before it would get cool enough to shower. Per front desks advice. Customer service at front desk was not good. We will not be staying here again. The only waitress working in the hotels restaurant was amazing! She was on top of it all.
The concierge and rooms are nice. We got upgraded to a room with a view without even asking. The people are very personable. Breakfast was an additional $25, the restaurant closes at 10p, and the elevators are kind of dirty. Comfy beds, clean shower, and lots of extra towels. I would stay here again.
I love to stay at the Holiday Inn, in fact I almost always do. I even have their rewards card. They are great hotels. But today I'm traveling with my dog, they don't take dogs. So many great hotels take a well behaved dog and Holiday Inn needs to get with the program. Thank you Ramada for giving us a great place to stay tonight.
No phone in the room and television did not work. Windows open to a furniture storage hallway. Front desk did not clarify any of these things but were very nice. But when I called back to report these problem, I got a very terse 'I am busy checking in guests' response. I want to remind the hotel establishment that their responsibility does not end the moment a guest checks in. In fact that's where it begins. $160 is not a small amount of money for spending a night in a hotel room. Show me a home rental where the daily rent is $160. I would avoid this hotel. They pretend to care about customer but actually do not and have duplicitous behavior.
Yes, the place is in need of a renovation, not because it's falling apart, but because it may appear "dated" to some. However, to my fiance and myself, this Holiday Inn was an absolutely fantastic stay. While not all of the features are brand new, they are very clean. The pool area was wonderful; there were two hot tubs, and a large dry sauna. The restaurant offered reasonably priced food, and it tasted good too! The front desk staff were attentive and friendly. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The room was quiet and the shades kept the room dark even after sunrise. Overall, I'd highly recommend this hotel. No, you won't get heated floors and quartz counters, but you will get a fantastic, safe hotel for a very reasonable price. 5/5!
Good location. Ample parking. Staffs were great. Wish they served free breakfast like all other hotels do in that price range.
Great sauna, hot tub and pool area. Perfect location near safeway, whole foods, and right in between keystone and breckenridge. It's on the more expensive side for a motel but only by about $20.
Hotel is as expected for a mid-service Holiday Inn. It's nice to have an indoor pool and plenty of parking. They can't seem to hire enough people to provide the service they'd like to, common problem in Summit County. Restaurant is painfully slow regardless of the time of day. Kids eat free! Bathrooms need towel bars and hooks to hang wet swimsuits and towels.
Beds were comfortable but they charge way too much this place. Lobby and exterior are nice looking but the rooms and valleys are crappy. Smells like a cheap gas station air freshener. The location is it's only saving grace as it is close to slot of great ski areas. This is an example of a hotel that does the bare minimum to keep the walls from falling down because people will stay here due to the better places get booked up. It is passable at best. Had to change rooms 3 time in one night due to clogged shower drain and then a broken door. This is not what a Holiday inn should be by any means unless. Holiday Inn corporate doesn't care anymore
Absolutely the worst customer service experience I have ever experienced. This place is a joke. I made a reservation on Thursday and received my reservation Via email and was charged $88. Upon checking in, I was given my paper work and they wanted to charge me $109 instead. The lady at the front desk would not hear anything, or would not work with us. She said she would not honor the price. Would not provide a reason why, was told to come back at 3pm to speak with the manager. So we leave and come back at 3pm. In walks Andrew Bradford the Director of Sales/ Asst GM at the Holiday Inn. Immediately Andrew is confrontational. The girl clerk that helped us previously, introduced us as "these are those people who refused to sign their rate" while rolling her eyes. Andrew is not willing to hear anything I had to say either. He was unapologetic and didn't even try to defuse the situation. Instead, he accused me of trying to rip his hotel off, when all I wanted was for them to honor the price they quoted me at. Simple business and customer service. Then, it got bad. He then proceeded to start raising his voice to me wife, and then told her to "shut up". It took everything I had not to freak out. Then, our ultimatum was to either pay the new amount or he would cancel our reservation and we could leave. If we would have been able to get a room elsewhere, I would have walked out right then and there. I would have rated them no stars if I had the option. Andrew Bradford prides himself on providing exceptional and outstanding customer service according to his linkedin account. Maybe your hotel should give him a refresher and train him on what customer service truly is. If I treated customers this way at my job, I would be fired, plain and simple. Andrew Bradford, you truly are a fake, condescending, and egotistical human being. I will never return to your filthy and stinky hotel.
