I met out of town friends for breakfast, the food was great the area to eat was tiny and several of the chairs were broken or on the verge of breaking. One of the chairs I sat in was missing screws and the seat fell through when I sat down.

Room was very large and had nice layout with many convenience items. Thermostat worked quickly. Very clean. Friendly staff and great breakfast. Will definitely stay again.

My husband and I stayed at this Holiday Inn Express for an extended stay while my husband was recovering from a stem cell transplant. The suite we stayed in was comfortable, clean and the staff was beyond kind and helpful!!! The valet staff was courteous and efficient!! Lorenzo and Katie at the front desk were professional and caring. Carolyn and all breakfast staff always had a smile and an offer to help!! Carolyn provided a kind hug when she saw I was having a bad day. The hotel might need a little update, but, the staff and location make up for that issue!!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The bed was so comfy that we didn't want to get out of bed. The location was convenient and the valet parking and front desk staff were very nice and accommodating. I am definitely staying here next time I am in Detroit!!

Great location! Staff is very friendly and welcoming. I left my phone charger in my vehicle after Valet parked my car I notified them and they retrieved it and brought it to my room! Room was clean beds are very comfortable. Only thing the heat or air did not work. Iā€™d definitely book this hotel again

Worst Holiday Inn I've ever stayed in. The lock on our door didn't work from the outside, so it's a good thing we only stayed one night, only came in once, and then left. Our shower also didn't work, only had scalding hot water. The front desk person tried to tell us it was because everyone was trying to shower at once, which would have been believable if it were only cold water we were getting instead of hot and if the maintenance man hadn't told us he had to get a new valve for it. They gave us $50 off our bill, but I would have liked to stay somewhere where I could have showered; after all there are only so many reasons you stay in a hotel! Shall I go on? Let's talk breakfast- the lack of supplies, space for guests at breakfast, or even coffee!!! Couldnt even get a water out of the sold out vending machine. Very disappointed. šŸ‘Ž If there was one redeeming quality about this place it would be Lorenzo, who I believe was a front desk supervisor. He seemed to be the last thread, holding the place together.

The stay was nice. The breakfast bar was great. However our room had a damaged ceiling in the bathroom and you could tell that there were other parts of the interior building that needed repair. The location was good, within walking distance of most nightly social settings; such as casinos, food/beverage, local event sites.

Myself and 2 girlfriends stayed overnight last night at the hotel. Everything seemed fine until we got home and 2 of us found out we had $47 taken while we went down to have breakfast in the morning!! I called the hotel who put me through to a manager who then out me through to the Housekeeping manager. Of course it went to voicemail. I left a message with all the information and said I expected a call back. But of course nobody calls! I seen prior to me writing this review that the same thing happened to someone else! I would advise everyone not to stay there or if you decide to leave the room to take all your belongings with you!

Very clean rooms. We stayed on the 5th floor which was recently remodeled. Room is small, but bed is brand new (very comfortable), all pain is fresh, nice looking bathrooms. The front desk staff was very helpful, kind and personable. Location is terrific and the bar downstairs is fun and very reasonably priced.

We came into town for a weekend stay before a Lions game. We wanted to stay downtown for the whole experience and we're not disappointed. We had a room on the 17th Floor which is where the pool is. But the highlight of the stay with the staff. Every single person we spoke to was friendly and helpful. Lorenzo at the front desk helped us make our plans for what to see and do while we were in Detroit. Valet parking was great, breakfast was wonderful and the room was very comfortable.

Location is near several restaurants and in the better part of Detroit. Rooms are spacious and everything is clean. Employees are plow and willing to help with whatever you need.

Great spot right off the People Mover Train. Close to lots of great places to eat and drink. JUST go to Angelinas for REAL Italian fare. Only down side to this place was that breakfast wasn't ready at 630am.

The staff are amazing so kind and helpful. Beds are so comfortable. Some really beautiful views of downtown Detroit the only negative things I can see as the pool is really shallow which is not a big deal. Rooms are comfortable in bed a little outdated but it makes up for the bed to being comfortable. Plenty of room for the kids to move around in the room. I don't have any chips on me The exercise room is very large

Elevators were ridiculously slow. Pop machines out of everything. Hallways dirty. Staff was friendly. Location is great. Bed was comfy. Room was clean and quiet

Stayed for two nights for a conference. Service was impeccable. Room was nicely made. Channel selection was nice. The shower had an issue, but I believe it was a problem to my room only. The complementary breakfast was fantastic. I really enjoyed my stay and if you stay here, you shan't be disappointed.
