Pharmacy with gift shop, and old fashion soda shop. Has ice cream, pop, lemonade and the best fudge around. The employees are friendly and helpful. Hometown owned and ran. Its a great place to shop or take a break.

My son and I went in during their Christmas celebration in our frumpy work clothes and we're treated like homeless bums. They even charged my son for a soda from their courtesy counter which I personally witnessed others getting free. I am an MSU alumni with both a BA and an MA , retired after 28 years teaching, pastored in Rowan county for 30+ years. I went home, bathed and put on a suit. They treated me like royalty on my return. This is 100% fact. Believe it or not.

Very friendly service and great people. They will do anything they can to help you out with your prescriptions. I highly recommend this place to anyone needing medicine filled. They also have the best milkshakes, homemade candy and treats in the county.

Sweet, friendly people. They care about their customers and go out of their way to help in any way they can. Rite Aid was trying to charge me $250 for a prescription and decided to try Holbrooks, they worked hard to get my insurance approved and I got my medicine for $3 that same day. My son also loves their selection of Jelly Bellies, and their little counter with free soda while you wait.
