I always have a difficult time finding shoes that are comfortable and fit properly. George is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He spent a lot of time helping me find the right tennis shoes. The hours are limited (open until 5 on weekdays and 3:30 on Saturdays, closed on Sundays). Saturdays are packed- definitely try to go on a week day if you can.

They have a great selection of fitness footwear. They carry several popular brands as well as some quality, hard-to-find brands. Many of the shoes are available in wide and narrow widths and all of the shoes are displayed with a description of arch support, offset, etc. Customer service was top notch. They seemed very knowledgeable about their products and footwear in general. I will definitely return for my next pair of running shoes!

Update: I sent an email to Holabrid explaining my concerns. They returned call and handle the situation in what I feel was a professional and reasonable manner. In the end I'm satisfied with the outcome. I may try them again now and see if the next order goes through a little more smoothly.

I haven't ordered much from Holabird but they advertised some GT2000s and it was a pretty good price so I ordered them. A few days days later I got a call that telling me the shoe I ordered was not in stock. I called them back and spoke to a representative. I asked asked if the had a different color in stock. She check and told me they did. The next day I get another call telling me that my second choice was not in stock either. So, either their inventory management is bad or the gave some other customer priority over me. I find either case troubling. When I called and talk to another representative and the only option she offered was to cancel the order. It was quite a waste of my time. I haven't had this experience with other online retailers.
