Outstanding soup selection here! They offer a range of hearty soups and the one we tried--Parsnip Ginger--was phenomenal. Outside may look like any little diner/pub. . .But their menu has some great variety and unexpected choices. Including 4 different takes on Corned Beef Sandwiches. Fellt more like a Chicago sandwich shop.a

I have safty concerns about eating any food from here. I would recommend it only as a dive bar. Bartender was nice, the cook asked if I wanted my soup microwaved or cold from the fridge.

Average night at below average dive bar. Appetizers were probably from the frozen food section. Worst part of the night the waiter takes our debit card along with 3 other credit cards. He returns our credit card slip to sign without our card!?!?! We are the only table in the bar wave him down immediately and he looks lost but after about 2 minutes he stops looking for our card that he took and starts cleaning the table. The other waitress kept looking for a couple of minutes.bartender just stands there waiting for us to leave. No offer to cover the replacement cost of the card no discount. Just a blank stare and a have a nice night?!?

This place could be so much more than it is. The staff seems to try hard. The service is fine. The food is decent. That said, it is all missing SOMETHING. Other places in town have their shtick. The Boathouse feels like you're having a beer in a neighbor's polebarn.

Loved my food. Fresh food all tasted like it was straight put of the garden. Salsa was fantastic. I would have given this place 5 stars however, the interior does not reflect the caliber of food. It needs a huge face lift.
