Surprisingly wonderful!
Don’t let google maps satellite view fool you - the image they show is old. There is an RV Park here with level sites and full hookups.
They are open until 10pm!! That's 4 to 5 hours more time to find a spot than 99% of all other parks.
We had a bad experience at a campground about 100 miles from here so we kept driving. We just needed a place to stop for the night during our cross country drive. We decided on this place because of the good reviews and were so happy staying here - we though the park deserved a GREAT review. First of all, the owners - amazing. They don't just run an RV park because it's profitable - they actually love it, and it shows. They are so friendly and helpful I almost felt guilty paying such a reasonable price for a pull-through spot that easily fit our class A and tow car. They have 50 amps, spots where our satellite dish worked and clean, clean well water. We will 100% be back and would highly recommend this Park to anyone needing a place for a night, a week or longer.
Thanks Hitchin' Post!!
Awesome park, we had a blast with the games! All up to date well working connections, and extremely friendly helpful staff. They even had a fire built in the ring for us, no charge. Would for sure come back!!
Great place beautiful hiking trail. Very friendly accommodating owners. Unlike so many RV parks the Yi Fi actually works great. Highly recommend this place. We will make a point to be back.
Cute little campground. Great for an overnight stop over. Cell tower right next door so great verizon service. Awesome friendly hosts. Will be on our list of good places to stop. Easy to find. Good signage.
Very hospitable family. Sites are level and have ample room for big rigs. We came in during bad weather and we were met with smiles and even provided us with a mat to cover ground when entering coach. Will definitely stay there again.
Easy access. Newer campground. 2 dog runs! Hosts are super friendly and helpful.
Family friendly and outdoor activities for kids. Fishing pond too.
Every enjoyable stay at this RV spot right off i10. Very accommodating hard working owners (retired park ranger) we'll be back.
Our grands who are 7 & 9 Gave this place 2 thumbs up. They had a blast today! My 9 y.o. grandson said, they have dog parks, games, a fire pit, fishing, and they did this all themselves. He is impressed! I am impressed because the boys had too much fun to be fighting. They gathered firewood, fished, played games with each other as well as with other people here, cooked hotdogs on the grill and just had the best time.
I liked it for the helpfulness, the kindness, and the care they take to make sure you are informed. They even take care of the ants so they do not becone a problem like at our last campsite. Love that there is cut firewood free for the taking.
They can only take in self contained R.V.s
but was not disappointed. You also cannot swim in the lakes. Warnings are posted about venomous snakes. You cannot miss the signs. I would recommend this place to anyone.
Really nice people, wonderful walking path around lake, with fishing spot, lawn games. Great for dogs, fenced in shaded areas. And super convenience right off of highway.

Great roadside location, very friendly owners on-site. They even laid out a welcome mat (door mat) and had a fire already built in the fire ring. Surprisingly quiet campsite despite being within site of I-10. Love's Travel Stop is convenient at corner of Dilmore Rd and US 231.
pleasant and quiet place to stay . Lots of trees around the place, had a forest behind my motor home. WiFi signal is very good.large white rabbits come out at duskhave photos of the large white rabbits. No cable TV, no showers or bathrooms. The power pedestals are very new, great condition. I will come again for another over night stay, not to far off the I-10 freewayyou have to go down a little narrow road to reach the secluded RV park..owner is very nice and greets you, shows you to your site, and helps you back in safely. Also you get provided a green mat at your rig's door, so you will not tramp in the dirt or sandi enjoyed the passport america discount
Owners are super nice!! Very helpful! We got here at dark and they helped us get backed into our spot! Nice back in spots in wooded area very nice! Also gave us free firewood! Wifi is great as well. Our dogs love the dog parks. Overall an excellent facility we will definitely be back! They also have a nice fishing area volleyball court, ladder ball, horse shoe pit and much more! Full hook ups at all sites. Highly recommend!! Campground is awesome and clean. Keep up the awesome work Hitchin Post!
My family of 6 is 2 months in on our 6 month RV trip across America. We started out in Northern California. We stayed in lots of RV places recently and hands down the friendliest owners are here. They welcomed us with smiles, gave us complementary fire wood, built us a fire. Plus gave us our own welcome mat to use during our stay. Easy in and out, I'm pulling a 42 ft fifth and not a problem.
Nice people really trying hope them good luck. We stayed here on a Monday easy in and out. Would stay again we used Passport America supposed to be 50% of made it $25 there price is supposedly $50 a night. I wouldn't pay that much to stay here. Nothing against the owners nice ppl. Also your right on I-10 across the fence there it is.
