Interesting place. Information was far too shallow, lots was closed when we were there.

Very cool walk in Calusa Mound. Nice information on the mounds. Lots of historical information from prehistoric times to the present.

Staff was fast and friendly. If you are looking for something you just can't get at bob Evans or mcdonalds, this is the place. Place is a bit small, leaving you feeling a bit confined, but outside dinning on a nice morning is an option.

Nicely groomed trails as you walk through gardens, along side the water for pleasant views and water breezes. An interesting trip for those who enjoy historical sites.

We didn't take a guided tour and several of the houses were not opened for viewing. Also be aware there is a decent amount of walking involved and the heat and humidity can get to be oppressive in the summer months. Bring water and breathable outdoor clothing.

There are several buildings that are restored along with gardens. This place has items from several eras of Florida history.

Great historical place. Bertha Palmer was ahead of her time for a woman in the early 1900's.

One of the loveliest museums in all of South Florida. A must stop, especially during the holidays for their events. We particularly enjoy their lights festival during the winter, where they. Extend hours and light the mangroves with breathtaking lights. All around a fantastic place to explore Florida wildlife and nature.

I was surprised to learn it was $12 per adult but it was totally worth it! The whole place is gorgeous. It would've been even better had u known to bring lunch. It was a great experience and I would definitely go back.

There are beautiful views of the water. My dog & I appreciated the well-kept trails, and really enjoyed experiencing "old Florida" in a unique way. Kudos to the grounds crew! Every inch of the property was immaculate.
