Very charming winter walk. Diverse shops, mixed with art galleries. Well Bred bakery cafe was a very pleasant surprise too.
Beautiful and fun place to go on the Biltmore Estate! Love the free wine tasting and free petting zoo. The shops have beautiful finds, a d the restaurants have tasty food. You can't be disappointed here!
I had a great time. I only wish I could spend several days, as there's so much more to see and do. My friend and I spent two nights in the Village Hotel, and it was wonderful. This place is amazing! The Biltmore House alone is fantastic, especially all decked out for Christmas. I want to go back so I can tour the gardens and some more of the surrounding grounds, see the House again, and revisit the winery and the other shops at the stables. But one must be prepared with plenty of time and physical stamina to tour the entirety of the estate.
Had a good time here. I am under aged but the snacks that you can try are nice and tasty. And the farm animals were cool also the underground wall under the winery is pretty cool.
Lots of shops and a really neat Christmas shop as well. A craft shop that was filled with very unusual high quality items. They had a skilled wood worker making inlaid designs for different shaped hand made wooden keepsake boxes. Handmade bees wax candles. Live harp music by a very skilled musician. And so much more.
A nice place to wander for a few hours. Be sure to check out the tunnel that leaded to the free wine tasting.
Many great shops and restaurants here. At entrance to Biltmore Estate. Enjoyed by locals and tourists alike
One of the most beautiful historic villages in the Asheville area. If you have not been, you must visit and check out the shops, restaurants, and landmarks scattered about. Everything is in walking distance, so park your car and enjoy a stroll through a beautiful Village.
Old people love this place. I'm not so sure but its whatever. There's a Mexican place so I can at least come here and clog my arteries with fried chips and cholesterol while watching the world pass by and old people filling their last few good years with bitter wine and shiny plastic trinkets. Thank God for this Mexican cerveza and good salsa. Its good to be alive.
Wonderful place to visit!! The Stables resteraunt has wonderful food (a tad pricey) and their outdoor food area has great food too at more reasonable prices especially for families. Love walking around the house and grounds and greenhouses Pets are welcome on the grounds (not in house area of course) Wonderful place to visit.
Lots of unique shops in historic buildings, with a variety of different restaurants. Would have been 5 stars, but parking is challenging.
Very nice, especially for the tourists. However traffic in and around makes it a difficult commute. Do yourself a favor, park a block or two away and walk around to enjoy it.
Historic district, lovely buildings filled with shops and restaurants. Too bad though that most of the shops are the same ones you would find in any upscale mall.
it's a nice place, ritzy shops. not all that interesting to us, but we enjoyed one of the big local art display/shops - over a parking area, can't remember the name.
I did the wine tasting. The location was very cool -- a former dairy barn, I believe. The actual tasting experience was typical. If you wanted to try Moscato, you had to pay.
Other parts of the village included a few stores, a restaurant and some historical interests. I would definitely check it out if I was in the area, but wouldn't make a special trip.
