My oldest applied. She is president of her class, she volunteers for many things. Teachers love her. She is part of national honors society. They rejected her to come.
She is very passionate about the constitution and u.s history.
She will be attending Oral Roberts University.
I was disappointed.
Love what the school is but she was more than qualified to go.

When first enrolled I had high hopes of seeing the truth and not establishment republican apologetic rhetoric. I love history but history is written by the winner and seldom do you see content other than contemporary thought just inside the mainstream.
I was taken aback when I saw that the civil war was over slavery. Slavery may have been a facet but certainly only a minor facet. The South was being economically strangled by the North with its shipping and economical policies that minimized profit by heavy regulation on shipping and trade, especially to foreign buyers of agriculture, particularly cotton. The issue of slavery has always been a method of moving the focus from northern fascism to southern slave supported agriculture even though there was ample slavery in the northern states. The issue of slavery has been made the "Oswald" of the period.
