Never had any issues. Have had different vets and all have been great. Also their hours fit my schedule.

Registered on the Snip program (which the surgery should be free) when we get there, they come up with a bunch of extra charges. All the vaccines were up to date but they said they weren't. Don't fall for the Snip program and don't trust these people.

These money grubbing bastards let my dog die. I couldn't afford the total bill, but I've taken my dogs there for years and spent thousands of dollars. They told my husband Sammy would die in 48 hours if he wasn't treated. They had him there ALL day and didn't offer Sammy a damn thing. Then didn't even send us home with a weeks worth of meds that we could pay back on Friday. The total balance, in full, was promptly paid Friday morning. Sammy died today. Dr. Davila can rot in hell. They care more about money than their patients.

I've been taking my dogs to Hillsboro Animal Hospital since they opened. They've taken extremely good care of our 5 generations of Rottweilers.
Today's visit changed everything and I'll never return again.
Dr. Taylor who have seen my puppies since they were 8 weeks old, is no longer there and all the Dr.'s have left except one. When making the appointment no one apprised me of the fact she no longer worked there, instead saying she wasn't working that particular day.
I took Duke and Dutchess in for their 1 year rabies shot.
They took him away to weigh him and when he did not return I walked back to see what was happening.
Three assistances were on top of Duke holding him down and they had muzzled him so they could take blood.
No one told me they were talking blood. And no one asked if he needed or for that matter to get my consent to be muzzled.
The Vet said it is a safety precaution, never apologizing for not communicating the muzzle situation
The Vet was insensitive and I'll never return again. Don't trust this Animal Hospital.response / report this review -

I have brought my two puppies there. They both grew up with these kind people. No matter what the question a new mom might ask, they are patient and informative.
They love animals and it shows!

Very thorough attention from the Vet. The location is clean and has very friendly staff. We took our dog to a different vet a few months ago and were not satisfied. Here, the office visit plus tests and all the vaccines cost less than just one test at the other place. We are very pleased with the quality of care!

HBAH is our seasonal vet clinic and I couldn't be happier with their level of care and kindness. We've dealt with them on an emergency basis for our pup with pancreatitis flair ups as well as when one of our dogs developed the canine flu. They do not try to push any unnecessary products or services and are very thorough when explaining what they're doing or any of your treatment options.
They also provided us with a list of reputable ER vet clinics incase we ever have any emergency situations outside of their very convenient office hours.

We visited Hillsboro Animal Hospital on a Sunday because our cat was very sick and two other vets were unable to discover what was wrong with him. Unfortunately, we had to euthanize our cat. Dr. Garcia and the team were very helpful and understanding of our situation, and clearly explained all of our options. The entire staff made this dreadful experience very calming and allowed us to properly say goodbye to our cat. We have now decided to take our other pets to this hospital for future treatments and check-ups. Thank you for the kind words and helping us get through this tough moment!

Found a cat outside of my condo. I couldn't keep it, but my mom wanted to so we took it here for checkup and were there 2.5 hours. They told us it was a female around 3 years old. They only sell Revolution in 6 month doses because they just want your $$. Nobody needs 6 months of Revolution for a cat that is going to be living indoors. They lost our fecal sample while telling us they just didn't have the results back yet, but found it 2 days later - they had never sent it out. My mom ends up taking the cat to my vet for a follow up and they tell her it's NOT a young female- BUT A BOY around 8 years old. Don't go to Hillsboro Beach Animal Hospital unless you want to wait forever and have incompetent people handling your beloved pet. The original vet/owner Dr Van Duys sold it a few years ago and ever since then it hasn't been the same. Such a shame.

I had a bitter sweet experience here as I had to put my cat to sleep. The staff were so caring and kind, Dr Garcia explained everything I needed to know and was so sympathetic. About a week later I received a personal card from her which brought me tears thinking of all the years I'd shared my cat. It was so nice to have a personal experience and not just a business procedure like other vets. Thank you.
