Attended a private party at Hill Country and it was great! Awesome music, great drinks, and even better food. Definitely a good place to hold a holiday party or company gathering.

We had a great time at karaoke on Thursday! The drinks were reasonably priced. The ambiance was fun with a Texas/ southern barbecue theme. It's close to everything and in the main downtown area.

Really sweet staff, meats are delicious! It's a bit pricy for the amount of food you get. It's also a bit confusing how to order so you aren't really sure what you're spending vs. what you'll be getting. It'd also be nice to have BBQ sauce at the tables. Food tastes good though.

I am not a fan of Texas style smoky BBQ but I can tell it was excellent none the less. Brisket was delicious. Chicken was great and the Prime Rib was my favorite.

It's a market style place where you purchase food by the pound and the waiter brings drinks and handles the table. Very casual and very country, very Texas. Great selection of craft beers.

    Would definitely go again.

4 stars for very tasty meats and sides. The Brisket and Ribs were both delicious. The Collared Greens, Green Beans and Corn bread were too. Reasonably priced. My only complaint is the limited bbq sauces at the table. One was on the sweeter side, the other was hotter. Neither were stellar. I ended up mixing both sauces for a better blend. Would go back because the meats were GOOD!!!!

If you're a fan of very Smokey, then this is your spot. I personally, didn't like this place at all. Chicken, sausage, ribs, all tasteless; it all lacked seasoning. I will say that the brisket & corn bread were good. The mac and cheese was okay also. I ordered the cowboy brownie, also a disappointment. It was hard and bland. At least our waiter was very nice & helpful!

Some of the best BBQ I have had in a long time. Excellent brisket. Check out the smoke ring. Good sauce. Sides were top notch. Be careful on the size you order on the sides. Go for the smaller portions and try mutiple side dishes. Well worth every penny.

The restaurant has a wheelchair accessible entrance that leads to a semi narrow ramp. There isn't an automatic door opener, so assistance may be necessary for individuals with limited movement and strength. The seating is okay. The tables are not wide and they have low clearance so there is limited room for your knees. The food is pretty pricey for BBQ. The sides are not the best. I recommend skipping the sides and order meat (the brisket has a lot of flavor). The people are nice, Texas hospitality and decor is everywhere. I'm a native Texan so I grew around good BBQ and Texas flair and this place is not horrible but it's not great either.

Great BBQ and sides, in big portions! it can get a little pricey and its tempting to over-order through. Lots of Shiner beer! good happy hour food and drink specials (margaritas!) in the front bar. downstairs is great for events and live music. The banana pudding is so good, too!

Amazing BBQ! Coming from the Midwest and currently living in CA we have had a lot of BBQ from a lot of places. This one rivals Memphis and KC. Rib tips were perfect. All the sides and sauces and every meat we tasted were amazing. Staff was friendly and helpful. Will be back next time we are in town!

Best BBQ in the northeast! Smoked turkey was beyond tender and the Mac and cheese was incredible.. on top of the 8 other items on my plate that were wonderful. If you're looking for BBQ, this is the place.

The place is very lively and the wait staff are always making sure if you need anything else. The turkey was great, very moist and not a bit dry. The only reason I can't give it 5 stars was because of the ribs. The ribs had plenty of flavor and just the right amount of peppercorn. But it wasn't fall off the bone ribs so I have to take a star. Overall great place to hang out and great service.

Can't speak enough about this place, upstairs has amazing Texas style sit down area and bar with 3 stations for chicken, ribs and brisket. My favorite is the moist Brisket. After you pick your meet their is a sides station with cooked spinach, mac and cheese, corn bread and many other southern style cooking.

I bring everyone I know who is new to town here, I don't know anyone that hasn't enjoyed it, some even say it is the best southern meat they have had.

The staff is really friendly and helpful, you can order at the bar while you wait for a table on a busy night or go down stairs where they have live bands, Karaoke and many other fun events. If you like southern cooking, this place is a must.

The service was standard, with willingness to help when you need something.

Food is quick to serve and the market style is quite unique and a pleasant experience. The meats are fairly palatable, however is a tad too salty for my personal liking. The sides are overly salted however decently flavoursome.

The interior is wonderfully decorated in a Texan theme. It is suitable for a meet up for drinks at the bar and live music, you will need something to wash down the salty feast.
