Under new ownership and in a new location. This new age bookstore is bright and airy, and offers a wide variety of items beyond the expected books. Proprietors and counter help are friendly and helpful. Definitely go here whenever we are in traverse city!!!

Awesome metaphysical store. Very helpful and knowledgeable while being friendly and inviting. Everything from essential oils to reiki. Even if this stuff mildly interests you, I would highly recommend visiting this place if you are in the area.

I stepped out of my comfort zone yesterday and attended a Meditation group at the Higher Self Bookstore. They hold these Meditation meetups every Tuesday I found out.

I have tried meditation in the past, and I always thought, "I'm not good at this," and, "I'm just not cut out for this." Going to their Meditation meetup was AMAZING. The staff was just great, 2 of them were there, they both were so kind and welcoming.

They talked us through it, offered insights I didn't have while trying to read a "Meditation 101" how too, online. Lol. It was quite a moving and eye opening experience for me, and I can't recommend them enough. Great welcoming environment all around.
