Ryan and his staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Welcome you right when you walk in. If they don't have what you are looking for they will get it. You definitely need to check out this place.

Owner and staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. Prices are very competitive. I've been researching a specific handgun for a while and these guys were about $100 cheaper than anywhere I looked. Very fair with gun purchases and services. I would highly recommend these guys to anyone. They're my go to for anything firearms.

Ryan and his crew really helped me out. I am new to the area and they really made me feel welcome, which is much different than the experience I had at a couple of other shops in the area. They ordered in a Taurus pt709 for me and I took the CCW class at their shop, which was great. I definitely recommend this shop to anyone; but, especially to those that want a friendly, welcoming experience. Thanks!

Purchased firearm from here, put 50 rounds through it and hated the performance (no fault of the seller) and brought it back in to upgrade via trade-in hoping they'd give me a decent amount of the buying price back; especially since I purchased it there and was willing to spend even more. Not so much. Low-balled me on price so I said "okay" and walked out with no intention on ever stepping foot back in. A week later I sold the gun online for 95% of original purchase price new. Purchased two other guns elsewhere since. And it's nothing personal since I really liked the people working there but it was borderline offensive to a customer that was willing to establish a long-term relationship with many more future purchases. I'm a retired County Police Detective and Special Deputy US Marshal from NJ. I recently retired and moved To Punta Gorda. I just stopped in to check out Higher Power Outfitters. Ended up buying another CC handgun from Ryan and Britney. I know guns from being, "on the job" for 30 years. Ryan gave me a great price, and I couldn't not by the gun I was interested in. I recommend this gun store highly if you're looking for excellent prices on quality weapons, and a great staff to work with. Be safe. Cory
