2013 I purchased a hi tide lift for my 29 fever fountain. We live in the Midwest on the chain of lakes approx. 70 miles from Chicago in a small town called McHenry. I constructed the boat house with the help of family members. The boat house has a 10/12 pitch roof 34 feet long and 21 feet wide. The hi tide lift lifts our boat completely out of the water with ease. Plus we purchased the remote control. Assembly was very easy and the material is top quality all stainless or aluminum. Also, the team at Hi Tide are extremely helpful and take the time to explain everything from the purchase to assembly to operation of the lift. All I can say is money well spent Very Very happy and my fountain also likes it's new home. Check it out I'm sure after you do your research Hi Lift is the way to go..

I had a boat lift installed in 2007. They used 4" X 6" I-beams for a 10,000 # boat lift that they now say is only rated for 9,000#. It collapsed under the weight of my boat and they categorically denied my claim without even looking at the damage.

Their products are bare minimum, of lousy quality, and they are completely non-responsive on warranty issues. Don't use them!
