Hessel Park is a great place to walk, with without your dog. In the summer there are concerts, and a water sprinkler for the kids. Nice mix of people, picnic tables, tennis courts, across the street from,ice cream place.

Love the place and the new playground but the old one with the water and the sand and bath room are being under construction.
Hope it will be done soon .
It has grilling place tennis courts and good place to run and have fun

Currently part of it is under construction 👷. Good place for families and pokemon go players. The stops do close at around 9pm for the night. Go to West side for late night PoGO

Wonderful park for all sorts of activities. Great playground with giant slides, lots of climbing structures, and parent/toddler swings. Nice walking path around , great pavilions scattered around park, and tons of mature trees. Lots of events from the park district take place here. A great park for all ages.

This park has pretty much anything you would want in a park. There's some parking, great play structure, bathrooms that are open in the summer at least, and some pavilions. The sidewalk around is marked for distance and in good condition.

This is an excellent park. Several playgrounds plus a really nice walking path that circles the park. Includes water fountains and well-placed trashcans, several with courtesy doggie bag dispensers. Every time I've visited all the dogs (usually 4-5) have been on leashes, and tended to be on the walking path (with their owners ;)

Nice place to take a walk with family and friends. They've got a huge entertaining infrastructure for children to play. And many people hang out here at night so feel kind of safe. And free parking. :)

I walk my dog Teddy here and he absolutely loves it. Would be 5 stars but there is an area of the park with dead grass and some questionable flying bugs.

It's a big park with lots of green space and a couple/three areas of playground equipment. My 3 year old grandson loves it, lots of different equipment.

The park has playgrounds, winding walking trail, tennis courts, volleyball courts, open space in the middle. It stays pretty clean and always has open parking. (A bit more upkeep on the courts would be beneficial.)

This park is beautiful, with lovely art, a nice pavilion, and it's always well kept, with new playground equipment for kids, and beautifully kept tennis courts and more.

Also, a great location to stock up if you enjoy Pokémon Go!
