Camp hosts are great. Had a beautiful view of the river & lock & dam
Fisherman's Corner Campground easy on easy off from Route 80. Paved level sites with water and Electric and two dump stations. We had site # 3. I would definitely use this Campground again when passing through the area.
Nice clean campground with good bathhouse. Close to intetesting places and right on amazing bike path. At only $20 per night its a bargain.
Park is run by Army Corp of Engineers so prices are very reasonable. Nice, peaceful &quiet setting. Spots are spaced quite nicely between each campsite and easy to maneuver into. Sites are electric only with 1 water source in the campground and the other at the dump station at the entrance. Even had a little book exchange box at the office.
Nice and clean. Very close to railroad and roads. Expect some noise in middle of night
It's a camp ground in the summer seasons right next to the Mississippi River. ( Lots of bugs and like bigger spiders and mosquitoes along with all the may flies and just about every other flying and non-flying insects from June bugs to beetles that act like cockroaches) Yay, fun for everyone, LOL NOT!!!
The NW spaces are way to crowded. Try to stay out of the 40s
We were on 43 & still had a good two weeks. Clean bathrooms/showers
We like camping here because of its location. It is on the bike trail which we like. It is close to all the activities in the cities. My advice is to use Google Earth to check sites when booking and to be sure to check the size of the site. They are strict about where you park your vehicle. There is no parking on the grass.
Peace and quiet on the banks of the Mississippi River. Lots of shade and space between campsites. Electric only is the only drawback to a long stay.
Quiet & pet friendly
We came into the park on July 1 for 1 week vacation, our vacation started off really well then went from good to buggy (May Flies) to 4 1/2 inches of rain & slit coming threw the campgrounds. I give a HUGE KUDOS to several people from Fishermans Corner they are; Francis & Vicki Fisher for letting us move so many times. Andy Kraus, Judy Borah, Jeff Casey and the Corp construction workers for all of there hard work in cleaning up the sites for future campers in the extreme heat. Our vacation was extremely interesting this time but the kindness in the staff mentioned above will keep us coming back. AGAIN KUDDOS Corp Staff!!!!!
A beautiful night alongside the Mississippi River!
Passing through from Michigan. Very nice staff.
