This is such a beautiful place yo see a concert or show. Just saw Straight No Chaser there. They are a great bunch!! They put on such a fabulous and energetic show. Our daughter just loved it. She was thrilled that she was able to meet them afterwords and get her picture taken with them.
The show was good and so was the theater, but the staff on the other hand I was trying to buy a water before the show started and as soon as I walked up to the cashier, security closed the concession stand, saying I wasn't aloud, even though the show didn't start for 10 minutes. During intermission, I used the restroom and tried to get a drink from the water fountain, which had no pressure, then went back to the concession stand for a drink, which had a line back to the stair case. I stood in line for the rest of the intermission and was within 15 feet of the stand, until security told me if I stayed there any longer, that I'd loose my seat.
They really need to redistribute more of their workers on registers and less of them on security, trying to boss people around.
It's truly a great place. It's building itself is a great sight. Brings you back to the old days. It's very very cool. The building has stone designs and it will definitly bring you back in time
Nice place to go see a show! If there are 2 things I'd mention would be if you are not a small person the chairs really have you snugged in and most of the bathrooms are down 2 fights of steps. Other then that people are friendly a Good amount of parking that is free!!
My first time there. Checked the camera policy ahead of time for the venue and the event. Both stated they were okay within certain parameters. The sign outside also said cameras were fine. However, once getting to security I was informed they weren't and had to walk my camera back to my vehicle. It caused me to miss the beginning of the show.
Policies are fine, enforcement of them is fine. But changes without prior notification are a pain.
Beautiful theater. Absolutely breath taking. I would go see anything here.
This is a very nice theatre. Very historic as it was built by Milton Hershey in the 30s. Stage is a bit small though.
Great historic theater. Broadway plays and various concerts are booked here. Seats are cramped if you are tall.
Always a great experience. Not thrilled that they run us through like an airport and do not understand the need for that security. Bur the plays are generally wonderful.
Great place to go with a significant other. Great actors. Helpful and enthusiastic staff. Clean and orderly. I had many great experiences coming here. Always lovely and enjoyable.
Nice place, easy to get to and nearly every seat is a decent seat. Not too large, but big enough. The seating is a bit tight though.
Beautiful theatre, ample parking nearby. My one big complaint is that the leg room is no existent. My knees were hitting the seats in front of me
Easy parking. Easy. Love that. The building is beautiful but they need to work out a better bathroom solution for the main lobby area.
Awesome venue. Very quaint.. and small enough that there are NO bad seats in the entire place. Great ambiance. Gorgeously appointed motif.. just beautiful. They get a huge variety of off-broadway shows the talent is amazing. Parking is great.. no lack of available convenient spaces.
Just gorgeous inside. The ceilings and stone work are really breathtaking.
Seats are snug. I'm 5' 7" and bumped my knees a few times.
I wish they'd opened the second bar upstairs during intermission, because the line downstairs was incredibly long. There was no way to serve everyone before the second act started and it was rather disappointing.
