  Demaris Hill just kick me and my service dog out of the building. Because the service my dog provides dlshe deemed wasn't good enough even this VA was the one that gave him to me and has service papers. What an incompetent staff and great way to treat a Veteran that served in Iraq 4 times. I am 100% Disabled from Iraq and need the dog but she knows more than the doctor apparently.

  Has tons of programs and events for children and adults. Like this month, adults can watch feature films for FREE, learn Chinese or Arabic, learn to write poetry, meet and interact with writers and much much more.

  As a resident of Gainesville for 20+ years now, I have to give two thumps up for Alachua County Library. I have seen it improved over the years..not that it was any worse in the past. I have saved tons of money checking out their DVD movies and books. They have a pretty comprehensive collection. With the hold request online, I can just go to the library of my pickup location, check out the items, then walk off. Very convenient. They do not even charge late fee when you are a week or so late on returning the items. Thank you Alachua County Library!!!
