I came here from the ripoff Petsmart Banfield vetplan. I wasted so much money at that place. Harwood Road Animal Hospital has been amazing. Never once have they tried to get me to do this or that or buy this or that, unless my dog actually needed it. It's a good honest place that I have enjoyed. Employees are all very nice and they treat my dog like one of their own. If you're looking for a good vet to take care of your dog, you can't go wrong here.

Dr. Howard is such a gentleman. He was very gentle with my baby Blossom who is 8 years old. He explained things thoroughly and was very respectful to my decision. I will come here forever! The staff was just lovely as well!

I don't normally write reviews, but I feel the actions of this clinic necessitated a poor review. We just adopted an 8 week old pup, and had an appointment one week later. After a few days at home, the pup vomited twice and had loose stools. My wife decided to call this clinic and ask the vet if this was normal or if we needed to bring him in prior to his scheduled appointment. The receptionist answered and said she would ask the vet. She returned and told my wife that we "needed to take him to the emergency room." Despite multiple questions from my wife, she did not tell us why we needed to do so, and refused to let us speak to the vet. We elected to call another vet (Bedford VCA) who promptly saw us that afternoon and returned a stool sample within 24 hours.

I am past due writing a review for Dr. Kussmal. I love this place! They take their time with the pets and listen to your concerns. Yes, there are times when the wait can be longer than I would like, but my appointments are usually on Saturdays and they are just doing their best to accommodate everyone who really only has that day to get things done. They are open 5 other days as well. Recently I realized that in 1989, this was where we took my pets at the time, so they've been here a very long time!

Steer clear of this place if you love your pets! They just about killed my poor puppy took her to a real place in Grapevine. this place charged my lots of money, just to find out they don't know what the hell they were doing!
