We are the party of seven, half of them kids, who shows up with no reservations because we forgot to make dinner plans and now everyone is up past bedtime and hangry.
We were met with excellent service, quick seating, and amazing food.

One of us is allergic to dairy, and the staff made sure to keep us well informed about what was safe to eat, as well as modifying items where possible to make sure we got the best possible experience.

Reliably tasty with great service. The shrimp cocktail is justifiably famous, so be sure to try it. (Do not exhale while eating. You're welcome.) Known best for steak, but the rest of the menu is also worthwhile. Staff is very accommodating with special needs, and the vegetable sides are great.

We sat down and we're served very quickly, they kept our drinks full constantly. I ordered a bourban trail cocktail and it was delicious and strong. For dinner I ordered sliders and fries with a spicy meat ball appetizer. My wife ordered a small spinach salad (they do not say they have small salads on the menu, you have to ask!) and a fettuccine Alfredo. It was all delicious. We have no complaints about our visit.

As good a dry aged steak as you'll ever find. The cocktails we're great, the staff had great personality. The sides were good, but not great. All around, killer meal. It was my birthday and Id be happy to do it again next year.

Our Venue had an Appreciation dinner for The Circle City Classic Volunteers, who volunteered for the actual game on September 23rd, 2017! Austin the main waiter was GR8! I've never been to Harry and Izzy's! But Austin suggested certain items on our pre-set menu! And he was very right in suggesting those Mashed potatoes! Excellent! The food was good! Austin's service was GR8!!!👍👍👍 DOWNTOWN LOCATION! INDIANAPOLIS, IN😆

Excellent food, no question. The steak is absolutely fantastic! The atmosphere is nice and very fancy so you might want to dress up a bit. Servers are quick and friendly.
All things considered a great place to go for a fancy dinner, although you can't help but hurt a little bit inside because of all the money you will spend.

    Tipp: Come during Devour Indianapolis.

Excellent service, and a perfectly cooked steak. Sister place to St. Elmo's next door with a newer yet clean look. Our waitress Eliza was knowledgeable, professional, and one of the nicest waitresses we have had at a nicer place. The shrimp cocktail with that wake ya up horseradish is amazing and the calamari was superb. We will go again and will request Eliza again.

Friendly staff. Fantastic food. Fancy. The kind of food that makes your eyeballs roll back and your tongue has never had such a satisfying flavor. The izzy NY strip was divine. Rolled in pepper and cooked to perfection. The orange brandy sauce was, well you'll have to judge for yourself. $$$$ but worth it. Best steak of my life. Hopefully I'll die soon; happy.

I've dined at St. Elmo's multiple times and I have never had a bad meal. The shrimp cocktail is not for the faint of heart! We always take my parents here when they are in town. The food and the service are phenomenal.

ery good food. I was skeptical about the menu since it is eclectic, not quite "chef driven," but close. Everyone was happy with their selection. We had a large table of 12 adults and 3 children and everyone was served with 2 minutes of each other. Our primary server was wonderful.

Have eaten at both restaurants dozens of times and never had a poor experience. This is my favorite place to go. A great mixture of business casual or just going out. Great food, amazing service, reasonable prices, and great atmosphere. Perfect blend.

I just loved this little cafe!! They turn grilled cheese and tomato soup into something magical!! This is the best spot to get a great cup of coffee, breakfast, brunch, or a sandwich. They also have great salads and soups. Plus, their desserts and bakery items are enough of a reason to go. I just can't say enough great things its sooo good.

Wonderful food. Most places are afraid of using horseradish - their Shrimp Cocktail embraces horseradish to a degree rarely seen in a restaurant. Fair warning, it will knock you flat if you aren't prepared. Delicious steaks. Try the Izzy Style Strip with the Gorgonzola added - I'm not usually a 'blue cheese' person, but that was amazing. Very inventive drinks too. Not overly pretentious, very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Worth a stop if you're downtown, worth a trip if you're looking to impress someone.
