We extended our stay because the casino is in a beautiful area surrounded by hills and a hopping casino on top of it. We thought we were in Vegas. The property is well kept, clean inside and out. Hotel staff is very friendly, lots of food choices besides the obvious entertainment. Two thumbs up!
casino is clean. Good gifts. However you need lots of money to play. Machine are very tight. If your luckily you might win ten or fourteen dollars. Bar is nice.
The resort is our family go-to for birthday dinners. It's usually pleasant and delicious. While the service has been optimal, the food quality wasn't on par with what we are used to. I'm guessing because we were there on a weeknight, it wasn't prepared as well. The desserts didn't have that fresh but more out of a box, vibe. Most of the usual dishes were scrumptious still. I am just guessing the latest experience dipped a little lower than usual. We shall see the next birthday.
Details, perhaps the housekeeping team could close the door to the toilet area. The dust has built up on the door slats. Makes one wonder what else has not been tended to? Buffet was good, not fabulous for $29.99, server never returned, no coffee refill. No clearing of dishes, disappointing. All of the staff was very friendly and professional, except server/buffet. The room and view were beautiful.
The resort was nice. The pool was beautiful, they have the adult side and the children's side. The casino reeked of smoke though. I don't mind casinos that allow smoking, the two go hand and hand most of the time, I get that. But their casino had poor ventilation. It also seemed that their slot machines were tight, I didn't notice too many people cheering as if they won anything. I know I didn't :(
I went to Harrah's to gamble. Their casino is one of the biggest casinos I've been to. I like the variety of slot machines they have, and the atmosphere is like being in Las Vegas, itself. As far as location, it's a little far from where I live and the buses don't travel to convenient areas. Other than that, they have great customer service and the food is wonderful.
Nice casino/resort. We were there at the Event Center which was nice and fairly organized. The bars located inside the venue could of been better staffed knowing there would be hundreds of people and a lot were going to get drinks before the show. I wouldn't mind going back if another event/show was scheduled there.
We had a great time. Only Casino in area that still has games we enjoy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will drive past other casino's with no problem to play and stay at Harrah's.
Stayed after our wedding. Resort was clean and staff was very nice and helpful. Our room was even decorated per my request before our arrival. They had some sort of concert going on at the pool and we heard the music loudly from our room. That was the o ly negative but overall great experience lots of food options and lots to do.
Had a great room with a wonderful view of the mountains and valley. The lazy river is awesome. Spent all day by the pool. Great cocktail/food service there, and reasonably priced. The buffet had every imaginable possibility, and was fabulous! Every employee had a smile, it must be a great place to work. They do so many eco-friendly things. From recycling the hotel guest soap to help save lives in underdeveloped countries to recycling their own waste water. Highly recommend and can't wait to stay there again!
Went for the resort day pass to enjoy the pools. The swim up bar and main pool were great. I was a little disappointed with the lazy river as it was more for the kids. There are a lot of fountains spraying water and I spent most of the time trying to protect my drink. The nachos at the swim up bar were really good and the $30 bucket of beers was a pretty good deal. I'd definitely go back, it makes for a nice Vegas style daycation but without the long drive.
Something about this place just doesn't deserve a 5-star rating. The sign really throws me off, too. Are we in Vegas or San Diego. What's up with that "Harrah's " sign! The pool is the best asset. Reggae Sunday's rock!
We stayed here for our aniversary. It was only one night, on a weekday. It was a really good experience. Our room was on the second floor, it was clean and comfortable. The decor was classy and cozy. The bed was big and very comfortable. One great thing was the shower, it had a lot of pressure. It gave a nice massage. There's a very nice pool and a wonderfully fun lazy river. There's also plenty of choices for dining. We chose the buffet. At first I thought it was pricey, but once inside we saw the many options and the quality. it was great! We're planning on coming back with our family, hopefully soon.
Rooms need to be cleaned a little more thoroughly, used coffee grounds from previous occupants need to be disposed of and shower didn't drain well. Food at Chinese restaurant and buffet was great. Employees at both made the experience enjoyable. Ventilation for smoke needs to be better on casino floor. Overall, I had an enjoyable stay and would do it again.
We love coming to Harrah's, to spend the day relaxing in the lazy river. The rooms are nice, & comfy. Service is great. Unfortunately we visited at the end of the Memorial Day Weekend, the pool was packed. But Tuesday was much better. Our family still loves a day at the pool here.
