Max & Zara always seem to love coming to Happy Tails to be boarded. They get excited when we pull in and are exhausted from playing when they get home. The customer service is awesome & the facility is always clean!

We have taken our high-energy Border Collie mix here multiple times, and he's always happy to return! When we pick him up, he's worn out from playing and from walks. The staff is always friendly upon drop-off and pick-up and knows Fynn by name.

We always appreciate the daily pictures they post of Facebook, though we wish there was a way to get updates personally, either via text on an online camera login, as some boarding kennels have.

Very disappointed with the professionalism of the owner and the staff. Their uniforms look like glorified trash bags. Receptionist isn't very knowledgeable or friendly. The staff, in general, as well as the owner, isn't very knowledgeable on pet-friendly supplies or cleanliness of pets kennels. They JUST started bleaching things to clean kennels and outdoor potty areas. Bleach should only be used for monthly deep cleanings, not daily cleanings, as it can irritate the skin of animals and if not cleaned out properly, can make animals sick or have loose stool. Also, extremely disappointed that the owner is misleading on her word and runs away and avoids confrontation and being an adult. I will never recommend this place to ANY pet owners and I will make sure everyone I know knows what they've done.

Took my dog here at he last minute since other groomers in the area were booked. While I appreciated the flexibility, I was not so keen on the grooming work done. Upon inspection at home, my dog's fur was uneven and I found some knots in the areas I specifically pointed out when I dropped him off. Also, I noticed one of his nails was still actively bleeding from their trimming work. Finally, I will mention that the price seems a little steep compared to other groomers in the area. Particularly when I get charged for premium shampoo I did not request. The staff were very nice and the facility looked clean, but I cannot recommend them as a groomer.

I take my Border Collie to Happy Tails for grooming and I am very happy with the way she looks and smells after she gets done.
She loves going there and they do a great job with her.

I usually take my dogs to the Pink Poodle Pet Spa & Boutique but since they were booked I decided to try Happy Tails out. At Pink Poodle they take the time to make sure they talk to you about everything they do before they take your doggy back. We arrived at Happy Tails and everything felt rushed. They didn't want to talk to you about anything they would be doing, they just wanted to grab the dogs and go. They took no time to ask about how the dogs behaved when getting groomed. When my husband went to pick the dogs up, one of the ladies went back and mumbled "It's the crazy one." If they would have taken the time at arrival to actually listen to me, they would have know that one of the dogs gets very scared and nervous. Looking the dogs over, my miniature dachshund smells a tad nicer, but looks the same. I asked them to trim and file his nails. They charged me for filing but there is no way they did. His nails are extremely rough. Whenever I pick him up from Pink Poodle his nails are so soft and smooth. My other dog (who actually belongs to my father-in-law) Looks like they really did a number to his fur. He was going pretty short but it's uneven and doesn't seem like they even gave him a bath. And again, his nails are very rough. The prices might be reasonable, but you are getting terrible service and low quality grooming. I will not be bringing my dogs back.

We boarded our 2 dogs there last year when we went to Florida for a vacation. Our one dog, a senior, got very nervous and had diarrhea multiple times. Not only did they bathe her each time, they provided towels for us so she wouldn't make a mess in our car.

We will definitely use them again!

My boxer gets so excited every time we pull on to the beautiful property for a visit for grooming! Owner and staff are great with the animals. Highly recommend.

The service was great when I took my dog to them in March.. As we were picking him up we talked to the owner and adopted two of their cats.. We were told they would groom them before we got them, but we picked them up early and we were told they would groom them for free for the first time I call today and Marissa just brushes me off and tells me it's $41 per cat.. I asked why on earth is it so much to give a cat a bath, and what do you do? She says "Oh, you know just the regular stuff like a bath, cutting nails, and cleaning ears." My cats don't even have claws just said "oh". -_- I will be taking all of my animals elsewhere. If you cannot stick to your word then don't promise anything you cannot deliver on, and educate the people that answer the phones it was as if I was talking to a wall.

The staff was very friendly. They went over everything with us. They called me when my puppy was done getting groomed. My dog came home happy and her haircut was awesome! I couldn't have asked for a better experience for my first attempt at a groomer since moving to Fort Wayne. They even called a few days later just to make sure we were satisfied with our service. We will definitely be back for all of our pet grooming needs.
