Great location, an alternative to the hotels near the University which they tend to be overpriced during special events. Nice clean rooms quiet, good hot free breakfast, free parking and Wi-Fi. They have the regular hotel amenities like a pool, laundry room, exercise room and a business section.
The bed was as hard as a rock...would have been more comfortable sleeping on the floor...wish I had taken pics of this place because the interior was way gross except for the lobby (that's how they get you)
Stayed here for Parent's weekend and it was great. Nicely furnished, great value -- wish it was a little closer but still a nice location. Even across from a Harley Davidson shop/meetup area.
During the times I was there room Renovations and other Construction were underway. A nice place and getting nicer. Could easily jump to a five 🌟 in the near future.
Excellent place to stay. Clean room, very comfortable bed, iron, coffee machine and towels provided. Staff very nice and helpful.
I stay at this hotel so much that most of the staff no me by first name. They treat me with respect and with a smile as they have since I first stayed here. The beds are always soft & warm, breakfast is always delicious, and the staff are always attentive, cheerful, & happy to help. I do not have anything bad to say about to his hotel and will stay with them as long as I work in the area around them
It is worth spending the money here. The rooms are nice, the toiletries are Neutrogena, and beds are comfy. They have a great breakfast in the morning until 10am but they let us go in there to get juice and fruit until noon. Nice size pool as well.
Super friendly and helpful staff at check-in. Charli was a sweetheart. ( Hope I got your name right) HUGE wheelchair accessible room.
Complaint:. All Hampton housekeeping staff need to be advised to leave the shower handheld down for wheelchair users. We cannot reach up to the shower to turn the
hand held shower on.
Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and fresh. The continental breakfast was excellent with a variety of foods from classic waffles, eggs, and bacon to lighter options.
Friendly and accommodating staff. Attractive lobby. Complimentary apples and cookies. Spacious rooms that are clean and comfortable. Easy chair with ottoman for relaxation. Easy on and off the interstate and 10 minute drive to downtown Tuscaloosa.
Amazing experience. We were pulling in from New York coming back from vacationing at the Sheraton Mawah. This hotel is on the same level if not better. We were visiting JW Headquarters. This is a great halfway point from Houston Texas. We'll be staying here again for sure!!!
Stopped in around 4:00am to see if they had any rooms available. Just needed a place for me and my family to catch a few hours sleep and feed my 5 month old. When I asked about the room rate the lady behind the desk promptly said it would be $146.00. Yep...$146.00 for what amounted to 5 hours of room use. Don't think so...I took my business up the road to a Marriott in Bessemer and got the same quality room for about half the cost.
We arrived late and was checking on availability for a room and they had one room left. We booked the double queen room for the night. The lady on call was very helpful and even off me a bottle of water. The room was very clean and orderly. I did have to go back to the front desk to ask for an extra towel (my wife and 2 kids were traveling) since the room only had 3 towels. The morning we showered and went for breakfast, it was a good breakfast but there were some hot items that were a bit cold. But overall, a good experience. We checked out and left early due to the amount of miles we still needed to travel. The only thing I regret was that I didn't check for AARP or military discounts before I left. I'd stay there again.
