Booked a room for my Son's wedding night! Lisa was amazing! I stopped in the morning of the wedding to drop some little surprise gifts to be put in the room! Lisa was so excited when she found out it was a wedding night! She said she couldn't wait to decorate for the new Mr. and Mrs.! She went above and beyond, not only did she take what I brought for the room but also Sparkling cider, chocolates, balloons and towels shaped like swans were put in the room also! My son said it was so nicely done and the check in and check out was the easiest he has ever experienced!

Stayed here for 2 nights and would highly recommend. Highlights: they still serve hot breakfast, the pool/hot tub and fitness center are open, room had a microwave and fridge and room had lots of outlets.

No housekeeping but you can get towels, refills etc at the front desk. Check in and out can be done through the app so technically you never need to stop by the front desk unless you need something.

Cleanliness: room was clean, they give some wipes for you in the room. Hand sanitizer stations are by the elevators. Pool/hot tub area was clean when we went with plenty of towels stocked.

Breakfast: you fill out a form and circle what you want and give to the breakfast lady. Then she gives you everything on a tray and you can either eat at the dining area or bring back to your room. Stayed at a different Hampton Inn and they only had grab n go breakfast which was yogurt and cereal so having a hot breakfast was nice.

The hotel is nice and fine for a couple of days, including with children. It had been updated, but some of the more difficult things to update are showing their age. As an existing we had trouble closing the door in between rooms. On the positive side, the location is perfect for exploiting Jim Thorpe and the surrounding area. Everyone was wearing masks in the common areas and the breakfast was very good and well run. We would stay here again when we come back to the area.

I can't say enough about the staff. The staff are all so friendly and they all really seem to care. I can't say enough about them. In a post-corona world, the breakfasts leave a lot to be desired, but they are making an effort. They are keeping the place really clean. The hotel and rooms were clean. The water pressure in the shower was phenomenal.
My only complaint is that the doors are very loud when they slam shut and I was awaken both nights.

Awesome hotel with terrific management and staff! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for our visit to Jim Thorpe. Nice fireplace and lounging area in the lobby and was nicely decorated for Christmas. Rooms are modern and well equipped with power outlets and USB charging ports.

The night before we made our reservations we were stranded in a snow storm on the highway for 12 hours. Slept in the nearest parking lot then found a room open here. Once we made our reservation here, the staff was very welcoming. They cleaned a room for us immediately and let us in before 11am even though check in is usually at 3pm. They even brought breakfast back out for us. We were so grateful.

One of the nicest Hamptons I've ever been in. Recently renovated. Nice pool area. Very friendly and helpful staff. Free popcorn that made my kids really happy.

In the pro side, the location was perfect, the desk staff friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean.. The cons were that the room ac made a horrible noise forcing us to turn off heat on a 10 degree night. The staff was informed and could only offer ear plugs which did not work week enough.

We got married at Blue Mountain Resort and the bridal party and wedding guests stayed here. They gave us (bride and groom) a nice big room, which we used for hair and makeup the morning of the wedding - it was perfect because we had plenty of space for everyone (about 12 people total) and didn't feel cramped. They were also very organized - they had signs on the front desk for guests stating when buses would be picking them up and dropping them back off. The absolute best part, and the biggest testament to their quality of service: I forgot my wedding vail at the hotel, but didn't realize it until I had already gotten to the venue. I called the front desk, they found my vail AND drove it over to the venue for me - absolute life savers! I can't say enough good things. Also, the free breakfast is huge and hot and a big bonus.

Someone has replaced all of the TP with dollar store brand. I think they use it to remove graffiti on the highway. BYOTP. The fruit at breakfast tastes funky. The rest of breakfast is good. Tray of apples and bananas everyday. Fruit infused water. Pleasant staff, clean rooms, decent pool. A short drive from rafting, and biking. I would come back.

Decent Nothing special. You better get some food before you get there because there's no restaurants around. Thank God for the subway in the gas station off the exit.

Room was nice. Staff was pleasant. Only issue I have is they apparently charged my credit card twice for one night stay. Hopefully I can resolve this issue without much trouble.

This place is awesome and a wonderful place to stay. Our awesome experience started when we arrived and was greeted by Kathy. Kathy was a very pleasant and welcomed us as if she was welcoming us into her home. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. The 24 hour tea and coffee bar was welcoming knowing at any time beverages were available. The pool and hot tub was well needed after a day on the mountain. The breakfast staff was very accommodating, the food was good and plentiful. The cleaning staff was accommodating after we had an issue and left the room 45 after scheduled checkout. Finally, Lisa Marie was very helpful about telling us what to do and see in Jim Thorpe all during the different seasons. Lisa used her knowledge of the area and personal experiences to help us in our quest. This was our first time at this Hampton Inn, it won’t be the last

Stayed March 2017, traveled with family
