So, here's a story for you. Me and my family just stayed at this hotel, and guess what happens? They give us ONE KING SIZE BED which we weren't supposed to get. We were supposed to get 2 queen sizes. So, we go down to the front desk for a new room, and they say we ordered one room with a king size bed, but the confirmation number shows that we ordered a room with 2 queen beds. And to make things worse, they lied to us about our room. Because they said that that had no rooms with 2 queen size beds, and they only had one with a "broken" TV set. So we just took that one since we didn't care about the TV. And then what do you know? Nothing was wrong with the TV it anything what in the room. So the lady that was giving us our room lied to us to make sense of what she was saying. What did I say to her on the way out of the hotel? I said "at least tell the truth about what you are saying." She could've at least said that she had no rooms other than maintenance rooms. Morale of the story? Don't go to this hotel unless you want to have a bad day.
The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast in the morning had a large variety of choices. The staff were awesome!!! And this hotel is PERFECT for going to King's Island and/or The Beach water park.
Highly recommend staying here.
We stayed at the Hampton for the Little Miami Triathlon the next day. The room was very nice and clean. Beds comfortable. Breakfast was just right. With pre-race nerves it was nice to actually get a good night's rest. We woke up refreshed and rocked out in the race. Thank you Hampton staff for everything.
Location is great, located right off 71; you can see Kings Island and the waterslides of The Beach from the room in the east-facing rooms. Relatively small hotel, only has 3 floors--and the 2 elevators make it a breeze to come and go. Adequate hot breakfast. Room seems recently renovated--clean; NOT a fan of the smart lightingwhen I leave a light on, I want it to stay on until I shut it off. Nice toiletries (Neutrogena products). I'd stay again.
We were in Cincinnati to visit Kings Island theme park for the weekend. The hotel was located very close to the park, and was very convenient for us. The room we stayed in was very clean, fairly well updated, and didn't really need any type of small maintenance performed. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was very nicely sized for us. We ate breakfast in the morning there, which was pretty good for a free breakfast. The only caveat here was the amount of people there at breakfast time made it hard to maneuver around, and we did not get a seat. Had to take the food to our rooms. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I would stay here again.
We stayed 1 overnight. Just a quick trip to kings island just me and my husband. We checked in around 3:30 after being at the park most of the morning and was greeted by the manager. Very nice and pleasant. She offered us free cold bottles of water (we were obviously hot and tired). This hotel is located near lots of places to eat and close to the beach water park and kings island. We stayed on the third floor. The hallways were so hot and muggy, I assumed it was maybe were the pool was below us. Our room was nice and cool once we kicked the ac unit on. I'm super paranoid about bed bugs. I looked under the mattress and all through the bed and there were no evidence of bedbugs. Sheets were clean. The whole room was clean. However, when we walked in, a musty smoke smell hit is right in the face. It was not over powering, but you could even taste it in the air. Everything else was very clean and suitable. I think if the smell of the must and smoke were gone I would have rated this 5 stars. We didn't ask for another room bc we read google reviews prior to our stay and saw a review saying staff blamed customers for the smoke smell. We didn't want confrontation and just went about our day. We frequent the cincinatti area, but my children have allergies so I probably couldn't stay there with them. We love hiltons and Hampton inns and we are honors members.
Was here for a work comfence, was awaken bed bug biting me. It was a bed bug on my pillow. Called mgt and he was rude stated he would only give me a free night. When I stated that I would write a review to about my experience he told me to be out of his hotel by 11am even though I'm not suppose to check out until the following day or he would call the police on me. Worst experience of my life!!
The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. I had an issue with my room keys and it was resolved promptly. The room was clean and seemed larger than a normal Hampton Inn. If you are planning a trip to Kings Island, this is a very good choice as you are only a couple of miles from the park.
After traveling for several hours, it was great to settle down in quiet and well-appointed rooms. The staff was friendly and the accommodations very nice. The price was good, too.
We were traveling to Great Wolf Lodge for a cheerleading competition. We weren't planning on spending the night but when we received the time we needed to be there we decided we should. The hotel was easily accessible from interstate 71. we didn't have a reservation, we were able to get a room. It was on the 3rd floor and a very nice room. It was clean and quiet with being close to the elevator, stairs and vending. There was a lot of options for breakfast. And check out was very easy.
