Went here to attend a wedding a few miles away at Ball Ground. The wedding party and guests pretty much filled the entire place. Staff was friendly and courteous and even tolerated us hanging out at the pool and lounge area where friends and family from both the groom's and bride's side.

They serve free meals on weekdays that aren't bad and all the staff are excellent! They are very polite, friendly and helpful. The whole atmosphere makes you feel like you've come home every evening. Peaceful, relaxing and homey feeling!

Overall it seems like a nice hotel but had a horrible experience which from the sounds of other reviews may have been a one-off occurance. During my 3 days, the cleaning team never went inside my room to clean or refill towels etc. I even called and asked can I get my room cleaned and she was helpful at front desk and said they would come soon. They never came Main reason though I'm writing this review is how they handled a major health issue. The day I left the hotel I noticed I had received bed bug bites on my body. First time in my life. While I understand sometimes this may happen, I called them and also filled out one of their internal surveys mentioning the bed bugs and my room # to make sure they knew. I really just wanted to make them aware of the issue and need to clean the room I was in thoroughly before another guest arrives. They never called me back or followed up with me which seems extremely odd. I usually dont write reviews and call places privately if I have an issue but since they have not followed up my multiple messages and going on 3 weeks, I feel this is only option now to make sure they are aware of the health issue.

The hotel was nice and the staff were really friendly and willing to help. When I arrived in my room the staff called up to ensure my room was in good condition. The only complaint I had was that the carpet was wet. When they called up to check I let them know. They offered a room change but I declined because I was only staying 1 night and it really wasn't a big deal, I think the A.C. unit may have been dripping onto the carpet. Overall, I had a great stay and they did offer the room change for my complaint, which I was satisfied with the offer and their response! Will stay again if given the opportunity.

Place we stayed in was nice. Breakfast was perfect for someone on a keto diet. Internet didn't work initially but was referred to customer service and it worked! No complaints and was an overall great stay!

Loved the room and the service. There were tons of pillows on the beds! So many hotels give you like three pillows. There wasn't a mini fridge though, and that was disappointing. There was the usual Hampton Inn shower, though. It's always exciting to find a shower tall enough for my 6'4 husband
