Be it the ambiance , Be it the professionalism , Be it he cleanness and above the exotic and delicious Indian curries cooked by some of the great chef in the business . Haldi Chowk has set a new bench mark for others to follow in every sense . Additionally, Thank you for giving me discount on the meals . Deepak the owner of his place is friendly & welcoming. I love every bit of food at this place !!

Best Indian in the area. The Sunday evening buffet is one of the best Indian buffets I've had, just make sure you get a reservation.

My first time eating Indian food. It was delicious. The owner is very friendly and personable. I am trying to eat more toward a vegan diet and he answered all my questions. And continued to answered other questions people had in dining room.

Had dinner here and was by far best Indian in Monmouth county. Everything was fresh and service was great too. Will definitely be back for take out soon!

Yum! Sliding into food coma after Sunday buffet. Pace yourselves, folks. There's a lot to enjoy. Not everything is the best I've ever had and my fiancee, from Delhi, complains about this and that. However, he does choose to come back again and again and that speaks volumes despite his occasional nitpicking. Friendly, tasty and pleasant atmosphere.

A la carte was great when we went for dinner. We've been hitting the buffets a lot lately - insanely good and a very good price to boot. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the more negative recent reviews originate from the other Indian joint down the road a bit. 4 out of 5 stars solely due to somewhat repetitive buffet options, but they're doing a great job nonetheless.

My favorite Indian food in Monmouth county! This is a real homestyle place. Nothing fancy but just delicious food. Place is kept Neat and clean. Great place to have a tasty lunch or dinner

For the first time Halfu Chowk have us a reason to stop in Shoprite. We had the Lunch buffet and the food was amazing as well as the service. We have a few different types of restaurant and this one is on top of our List.

We went to this place first time 3/15/2017 for lunch. We drove 1/2 hr. from Edison where we live for over 30 yrs, after tired of all Indian Restaurants may be 30-40, It was excellent buffert with nice service with smile, owner is young Indian fellow with great manners. Food was very nice.
we enjoyed and will sure go more offten. Worth try.

The food is absolutely terrific! The staff is very helpful, and it is definitely somewhere you have to bring your friends and family. The environment is very friendly the food comes quick. One of my favorite places to eat in New Jersey.

A cozy BYOB, this place has always been pretty packed the past 3 times we have gone but we never had to wait for a table. They do take reservations, however I don't think you would need them (unless word really starts getting out and this place becomes super packed).

The food comes out fast, hot, and delicious. You don't feel rushed to eat, and in fact the first time we went we probably spent 2 hours eating and drinking our wine. The waiters leave a nice cold carafe of water on the table and continuously refill it during your meal so you NEVER need to ask for water (what a great concept. more restaurants should be doing this).

If you like spice this is your place. I ordered my food the spiciest and it really was crazy hot (but delicious) so I suggest medium spiciness at the most unless that's what you're going for.

Your curry dishes come with rice. I suggest ordering the garlic chili naan - it is absolutely INCREDIBLE and goes great with the curry sauces.

Overall you're getting amazing Indian food at a very affordable price. It wouldn't be crazy to call this one of the best restaurants in Middletown at the moment. I will be updating my review the next time I go with pictures and my experience with the buffet - I hear it is quite good and with a nice variety.
