Very cool dive site! The owners make you feel at home. I did my ice diving class here a while back and can't wait til haigh freezes over again!

Great scuba site in Kankakee, Illinois. Well run. Great place to train and meet up with fellow scuba divers. Equipment rental, instruction, and air fills are available if needed.

Good service, and, really, where else are you going to dive around here outside of Lake Michigan? I've only done my scuba cert training there so far. Will go back to explore all the sunken artifacts and different kinds of fish (I will find these paddle fish one day, I swear it).

Easy deep water entry off the dock, or you can walk in if you prefer. The water was incredibly murky (like, ten feet of visibility is generous) beyond about ten feet deep when we went. More experienced divers have told us they can see a hundred feet or so on a good day.

Hi I go to This quarry often I live about 15 minutes away it's a great place for scuba diving in and enjoying the day they have a lot of picnic tables and a beach area nice for family outings but I suggest you arrive early it gets crowded.

Great place to scuba train either for open water or various other specialties. Friendly service and family owned. Underwater visibility is poor and if you're diving deeper than 50 feet, you'll want a dry suit. There are, however, lots of sunken artifacts such as a house boat, firetruck, plane and an industrial rock crusher. A good go-to place for training!

Great place ask around. I went in nervous, and came out more confident than ever with my scuba skills. The staff and instructors are great people!

The Caribbean of the Midwest! We have been diving the quarry for almost 10 years now! If you can go on a week day, it's much less crowded. There is plenty to see here and also a good place to practice skills and stay fresh with your diving skills. The staff is friendly and they offer rental gear, tanks and air fills if you need it. It's good for divers of all skill levels.
