Great food and drinks. The bar area is nice with tv's in all directions. The outdoor patio is heated for the colder season.

The food is okay but the service is great--no complaints even if I forget to ask for burritos without beans, they smiled and re-ordered my burrito. Waiters and Waitresses are very friendly and pleasant.

Ate here last week with my adult kids. Wasn"t too thrilled about the atmosphere. Air conditioning was on, blowing on our backs. The music was way too loud, food wasn't enticing. Don't think I'll go here again. Although, if you want a good drink and chat with a friend, it's a good place but not as a family. Wouldn't take younger kids here at all.

Food was good and the waiter Chris and came to the table a couple times before the food got there. We were maybe half way done eating and brought us our check. Never asked us if we wanted another drink or dessert before leaving the check. Felt hurried.

We took our son and his wife here to celebrate our 1st grandbaby into the world. Our waiter was outstanding and food was AWESOME! Had a great time.

If you're fine with eating anything then I suppose it's good food, otherwise if you're looking for good Mexican food I would not advise going there.

My party was seated and sat totally unnoticed for over 20 minutes, no chips, no drink order, nothing. We also got up and left without being noticed at all. On the bright side we tried the authentic mexican place right down the road by the tracks and had good service and fantastic food for less money than we would have spent here.

Sat for over 10 minutes waiting just for drinks. Finally a manager saw and brought us chips. We waited for another 45 minutes for our food. She came at one point and said we were just waiting on the french fries, but we didn't see any food for at least 10 more minutes. When the food came the plates were warm at best. When we arrived there wasn't any clean silverware or cups.that was apparently the holdup on the drinks. She said there were multiple parties and that's why our food took so long. The parties have had their food since we showed up and the place was about 1/2 empty. We had to track down another server to get our bill and to go containers. We will not go back.

I ate during lunch hour on a Thursday so it was not too busy. Service was still slow and not very attentive. Food took about 40 minutes from ordering to table. The food itself was edible but probably not as good as a non chain Mexican restaurant. This restaurant is in a bad neighborhood and from the back and side of building it looks like the place is closed. Inside did not look much better. I am new to the area and will definitely search out more options before going back here.

We are from Elkhart and moved down to Texas. We love coming back to Hacienda when we are in town. This is the best Mexican Restaurant, I wish there was one in Texas.

It's the Hacienda like most chains, the experience and the food are incredibly consistent. Decent food, reasonable prices, decent service.

Hacienda is delicious. The staff are usually very good with service. There is usually a wait during popular times like Friday and Saturday evenings.

This is a MUST DO if you are in Elkhart Indiana! The margarita's are amazing and the food and atmosphere is perfect! Might be a bit of a wait though. It's a local favorite! Get the "wet burrito"! They are famous for them in this area!!

Love their margaritas!!! Usually I sit on the bar side and never have a problem. Last night we were there for over an hour before we received or food. We ended up sending two plates back. One person in our party didn't even eat. We were there for a birthday with the intentions of ordering a cake and ice cream, but after our wait we said forget about it. I was particularly disappointed because dinner was on me as part of my gift to the birthday people, but I ended up apologizing for their birthday dinners because of our experience. Our waitress was wonderful, it's just unfortunate that her manager couldn't come out and talk to upset customers. When we were leaving the seating area was rather empty, but the waiting area was packed. I love this place and I am hoping that this was just a one off night and not a glimpse of things to come for this restaurant.
PLEASE CLEAN THE HIGH CHAIRS! Very sticky and gross!response / report this review
