I am very sad to see this place continue to dwindle. It is a good location so I have never understood why. Apparently the demographics just aren't there, which is a shame. I shop regularly at Macy's, Bath & Body Works, Victoria Secret, Penney's and Belk which are no longer there. I even make the trip occasionally to Sears to go to Lands End. All of my stores are right there and very conveniently located near my home. I wish something could be done to bring that area back up again. The Mall of Georgia is just to congested for me. It really is a shame.

It's kind of sad how empty this mall is! I understand why - with the Mall of GA nearby, it would be hard to support one this close.
It's a good place to walk when avoiding cold weather.
There are leaks everywhere.
It is a surprise that they are still offering leases! It looks like it will close soon-

This place is a symbol of the changes going on in Gwinnett county. It used to be a symbol of American retail might, Grand and beautiful.

But the demographics of the area have changed and the cultural shift has had an impact on the this mall.

Most of this area has become populated by Asian-descended people, and many built their own shopping centers and restaurants, showing little interest in American classic stores like Hot Topic and the Gap. It’s actually a cool area, plenty of great noodle shops and farmers markets. It’s a lot like San Francisco’s China Town. But the mall has been a casualty of that change.

The mall does have a few remaining stores open, but it’s honestly a wonder that the place hasn’t been torn down and re-formatted.

I remember coming here when I was small. it was my favorite place to get rainbow ice cream etc. I also remember when those huge fountains were working and now it sorta spasms. This place used to be flourishing but now it's.. it's just sad. there's a whole section of stores closed. Definitely not what it used to be.

The mall was clean and bright with wide corridors and nice decor. The employees where I shopped were very pleasant and helpful. Sears has a wonderful Land's End department with outstanding quality clothing.
Unfortunately, This mall seems to be losing stores . I hope it can find a way to entice shoppers so they can grow again.

This place has seen better days. It's old, sun bleached, and cracked. There's loads of shut down stores all over.

That said. The Mega-Mart and the other Asian (Korean I think), stores in the area are totally worth going to.

It might be better in coming years though. The local Asians are moving in and opening lots of clean, well-run businesses all over this place. Which is bringing life back to it. I have hopes.

It's sad to see the mall the way it is now! In the 90's this used to be very popular and busy mall now it's a ghost town and completely dead. It's kind of sad really. The mall still have some decent stores in there to check out mainly Macy's a mostly shoe stores.

Three stars for the mall, one for Moonbeam. Mall is OK, but Moonbeam's honesty isn't. This, my friends, is how you go from the next Plaza Fiesta to a possible location for a cricket arena. Sad, and I never wanted the mall to die. Great job.

Love the Mega Market. Great place for Asian foods. And the Macy's is still a great place to shop. Its so sad. I remember when this mall first open. It was the best place to shop. But after the market hit bottom, so went the mall. So sad.😭😭😭😭

This mall has a sears department store with apliances, bedding, clothes, auto repair one stop shopping for all your needs. Best of all the top floor has the biggest selection of craftsman tools I have seen under one roof.

Its quite empty and only stores worth going for are macys and champs and footlocker i guess. but this mall really has little to no options now. Better off going to sugarloaf mills.

This mall has really went down since I moved to Georgia in 2006. It barely has anything any more. I got there for Macy's or a shoes store sometimes but I usually go to mall of GA now. So sad that a big property like this would just go to waste with all the good stuff around it.

Even though Sugarloaf Mills is the more popular mall between the two, Gwinnett Place Mall is not that bad of a mall. It's still got some pretty good stores, e.g., Victoria's Secret, Bath and Body Works, Macy's . The food court doesn't provide much variety.

It's a good Mall to go to if you're just trying to get in and get out fast or if you don't want to be bombarded with a plethora of people.
It also has a hair Salon and barber shop. If you were to go to the salon, I personally would not recommend Raven, she was about 30 minutes late to my last hair appointment.

There's also a little MAC set up in the Macy's department store.

This was a fabulous mall when built in the early 80's. But the combination of online shopping, big boxes, the opening of a large outlet mall and one of the largest malls on the east coast (Mall of Georgia) nearby have taken their toll. Even the food court at this place is dead with only a couple of no-name stands open. Multiple anchors are empty, and occupancy is likely 25% or less for the rest of the stores. Great place if you just want a walk though as it is never crowded.
