The onion rings are killer! I had the Hot Chicken sandwich & it was anything but good. It had been over cooked & was very dry. The table next to me had chicken appetizer of some sort & it too looked very dry, which they left about 1/2 on they’re plates. Ive had the Spaniard burger before & it was great. Guess when you’re at a burger house, eat a hamburger. I’ll be back though,,,,,,

Such a special find in Evansville! I used to drive by this old Greyhound station & hope that someone would do exactly this. Great specialty burgers as well as delicious classics; onion rings, fries, yummy desserts, and handcrafted cocktailswhat more could you want on a lazy Sunday afternoon or a quiet midweek dinner? Etta James, Frank Sinatra, bouncy 70s easy rockperfect background music for conversation with friends and good digestionhaha! Lovely experience overall & very reasonably priced. Great service, too.

Very good burgers. The building also makes for a unique dining experience. I would definitely go back for another burger.

This is my favorite place to eat. They have the best salad in town I substitute spinach and romain for the iceberg. My friends eat burgers and fries and they are excellent, except I don't like their ketchup sauce so I just get regular ketchup. I think their beer is.a little expensive but that is the only negative thing I can say. It is worth one trip just to see the building

The Bru was busy but they were able to find us a table outside on the patio.
Our server greeted us promptly and took our drink order. About 3-5 minutes our food order was on its way to the kitchen.
Less than 20 min. And our food was ready for our party of 6..Food was excellent. Service was outatanding!

I have a VERY hard time paying $17 for a burger, no matter how well it's cooked. However, they do have some really good varieties.

Other than that, the location is beautiful, and the staff is usually attentive. My co-workers and I have been here a few times, and generally like it.

Overall liked this place. It's hip and quality ingredients. A few things really needed some seasoning like salt. The burger was very good! I'm personally not too big on burgers but with all the goodies and a quality patty, this is for people who aren't even thrilled with hamburgers on a regular basis! They have grill chicken and veggie options. We had heard rave reviews about the onion rings but they weren't the best. Didn't care for the batter but they were homemade. Almost all of the items are homemade. Will try different sides and sample some more appetizers. We got the pretzels and they were pretty good, wasn't sure about the mustard sauce but it was just about better than the cheese. Would come here again. We arrived shortly after opening and it was pretty packed by the time we left.

They were super busy, but we were seated immediately and got great service. One of the best burgers I've ever had. Great beer selection and suggestions from staff were helpful. Are on patio and enjoyed the setting. Great experience.

First timers from out of town and EVERYTHING about this place was wonderful. From the service to the food to the accompanying management for delayed onion rings (which were amazing!) it was such a nice, calm atmosphere to end our mini vacation here in Evansville. Kevin was a personable bartender and very knowledgeable in all things food or alcohol. It's definitely going to be our regular get together when we visit family! Thanks for the wonderful experience and my boyfriends birthday is now complete with the delicious cheesecake (on the house).

Housed in Evansville's historic Greyhound Bus Terminal, Bru Burger is easily one of the most unique downtown dining locations. The quality of food and the menu selection is impressive for meat-eaters, vegetarian, and vegan friends. Great local beer selection too! There is something for everyone!

Unique setting. It was an old greyhound bus stop that was converted into the restaurant. A lot of memories were made her by the locals. The pulled pork on the nachos was amazing! The burgers were a good size. Cooked well and the beef had good flavor. The monitor I ordered was a little on the sweet side but tasted good!

Just like everyone else has said the atmosphere is fantastic. They have done an amazing job remodeling the building.

The food however needs improvement. For an appetizer we had the onion rings. There was easily enough for four people. It also came with their house made ketchup.

For the entrees we had the Roma burger and the honey Chipotle BBQ burger. First, the prices are not outrageous but they are up there especially when they don't include a side. Second, the burger patties are only a quarter inch thick. No need asking us how we like our burgers when they will only be medium well to well done.
