Jake and his team are friendly and professional. They were here when they said they would be and took care of all our needs. They were able to locate and repair a treatment plant that was lost due to it being in a location that had silted over. I would recommend GreenPro for all your sewer and septic tank needs
The guys at GreenPro are great to work with! They are quick to respond to text and emails and got the job done when they said they would. I would highly recommend them.
As the business is allowed to do, I will continue editing this review to address the half-truths and attempts to misdirect and gaslight. I stand by every word written in this review. It reflects the truth, and there is no defamation or "narrative". I hope people can see just how this business reacts to their own mistakes. I have also updated the additives claim below with the timeline to make clear that this story by the business is fabricated.
Would not recommend to anyone for septic system install. Through this entire process, the owner, Jake, has refused to acknowledge that anyone else might be correct. His entire focus has been on why his competitors are all wrong, and blaming us (the homeowners) for any and all issues we have faced. Even in his response below, he is more worried about his public image than acknowledging that his company possibly made mistakes.
GreenPro failed to complete an install on a new build. The condition it was in failed to meet code, and so they came out and completed the installation at no cost (as this work had already been ordered by the builder and was required by law to meet regulation -- it wasn't a complimentary repair despite the owner's claim).
We contacted multiple certified septic professionals to inspect the system after a large buildup issue. All of them noted installation issues that would be causing the buildup. Jake believes these opinions aren't valid because they are competitors. However, they are certified in ATS just like he is, so I have to rely on their knowledge and expertise as I am not a certified septic installer. They all claimed the system had installation issues.
Jake claimed that the buildup issue was due to "high strength waste" and "pouring grease down the drain which I admitted to doing". This is a false statement. When asked about the buildup issues, Jake's opinion has consistently been that it is our (the owners) fault due to use of heavy grease, detergents, cleaners, and non-TP products. As I told him, we do not use heavy detergents, cleaners, or non-TP products. We have never poured large amounts of grease down the drain, even on city sewer as we are well aware of the environmental issues that causes. We do use our garbage disposal for light scraps, never for full meals or casseroles. One of the other septic professionals noted to me after I asked about this, that we would need to be using restaurant-level grease down our drains to cause that level of buildup.
Jake claims the buildup was gone because of their "recommended bacteria added free of charge" on August 29. What he doesn't know, is that the tank was emptied on August 24 by another company prior to this second inspection. Meaning, on 8/29, it was empty. There was no need for an additive. I was also present for that inspection and no additives were added. I was within 10 feet of the installer the entire visit, and I did not see the installer add anything to the tank.
One final issue that was deeply concerning. I did not ever notice the MSDH inspector who issued the final approval on the property. As of 2:20pm on 9/14, he had not been to do the inspection (as indicated by Jake personally). At 3:03pm, I was sent the final approval. I had been outside with my kids during that entire timeframe, and the inspector never came to the property. That would mean that he never completed the inspection.
Jake is the man. I have worked in commercial construction for over 40 years as a Mechanical Quality Control Engineer and their work is excellent. They are very professional and complete work ahead of schedule. I highly recommend their service. Also the videos are very informative and spot on. I really enjoyed the one about the University of Mississippi waste water treatment plant. I have been involved in major construction of these type plants and that video is exactly how it works.
They installed my new water treatment plant Dec 26 2017, did an amazing job, very prompt. I recently had the tank pumped by a different company and as a result had to have Green Pro out to reset the tank. As previously they prompt and reasonable. We had built fences since the installation and they had to work in a tight spot. We got 4 inches of rain barely a week later and the tank stayed put. I highly recommend this company!
