This is my favorite of any aquarium I’ve ever been to! Please don’t let the price deter you! It is small compared to other aquariums but impressive nonetheless. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, the whole time we were at the string ray touch pool a staff member was conversing with us and telling us so many interesting facts! The smaller touch pool was fascinating too. They have cleaner shrimp who will come to your hand and try to “clean” you. The shark tunnel is amazing! After we walked through it we sat at a bench and watch the fish swim in the large tank for nearly 20 minutes. I wish we lived closer, I would definitely buy a season pass and be there all the time.

Had a company Christmas party at the aquarium and afterwards we got to enjoy the fish. However I thought Santa was going to be swimming with the fish but they only do that during the day. But the aquarium is always a nice place to visit. The company dinner served was fabulous had a great time would highly recommend.

I had a great time visiting this aquarium with my family. It was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The tickets were expensive, but what else is new. I would definitely go back.

Really clean, but very small, almost not worth the admission price. The shark tunnel is pretty cool, and all of the inhabitants are very active. The last time we were there, an octopus was playing. The kids loved to see him in action. The entire aquarium doesn't take more than an hour / hour and a half to walk through, unless you go through twice. The size is the drawback.

We have been to many many aquariums and this is one of the better. Hands down the best shark tank around. Very clean and a friendly staff. All that equals "worth every penny". Great experience.

First impression was that its expensive. With parking, a ticket for me, wife, and 2 year old (3 month old was free) it was $60. Being that we planned it, we just handed over the $$ and went in. Its on the smaller side, but truly is impressive. The fresh water/local ecosystem exhibits are way cooler than I assume most give them credit for, as they let you see what you never would looking at the surface of Lake Erie or a nearby creek. Very well put together. The shark exhibit was fantastic.

Great aquarium in the heart of Cleveland. My husband loves aquariums, so I took him there for our anniversary before dinner and an Indians game. I probably wouldn't have spent the full price ($19.95/adult + $3 parking) on a normal day because it only took us an hour to go through. We went on a weekday about 1.5 hrs before close and had the place mostly to ourselves. Most of the workers were very friendly and knowledgeable. The exhibits and decor were GREAT and the old building has been nicely renovated.

Very cool place. They keep the glass really clean and aquariums clean. We love to go here as a family. Only downfall is it's too expensive. We would be back more often if it was a little cheaper because you not only have to pay a lot for the tickets but also for the parking. The parking lot needs repaved, there are lots of pot holes. There's a large variety of fish and the tunnel you can walk through is awesome. I haven't seen one like it since the Georgia Aquarium so it's nice there's one close to home. If the prices on parking or tickets every go down I will definitely change this to 5 stars instead of 4. Also we love the little restaurant they have. The food is good.

An awesome aquarium. Great displays, interactive exhibits, friendly staff and just fun.

The Cleveland Aquarium was one of the reasons we headed up this way and we are glad we did; reasonable parking ($5) and the admission was worth it.

As soon as you walk in you are greeted by some amazing tanks that are filled with beautiful fish, turtles and more. The shark tank is awesome as are the stingrays.

Worth spending the morning or afternoon.

I love how they used the old architecture to display and home the sea life. My kids thoroughly enjoy coming here. Paying an extra $2 to feed the sting rays is highly recommended! I do feel as though the tickets are overpriced but then again I can't imagine what it costs to keep sharks and stingrays, an octopus, etc. I do also feel as though the aquarium is pretty small compared to other aquariums I have been to and the price is comparable. If you go in knowing it is small and it will be pricey and can get past those (opinions) then you will have a great time. And your kids will also have a great time. The animals are beautiful and extraordinary and walking through the shark tunnel and petting a stingray are worth the trip.

Great aquarium. My 3 month old loved the shark tube with the fish swimming Over her. I enjoyed the stingrays exhibit. There are lots of fish tanks and the architecture is really neat too.

This is a smaller aquarium (not Chicago, Monterey, or Baltimore), but nicely run. It is an old power plant, so the building and layout are fun to see by themselves. There is a good variety of fish in a well laid out arrangement. The staff is available and very helpful. A great visit!

After reading the reviews about not having enough content to be worth the price, I was worried. It's my first time in Cleveland and with limited time I wanted to make sure I was spending my time and money wisely.

That being said, the Greater Cleveland Aquarium was beautiful. There were so many different fish, turtles, tanks, etc.
There were so many signs with info about every fish there and I spent a good amount of time learning so much. So many interactive exhibits and fun informational games. Many aimed towards kids, but I rather enjoyed them regardless.

Over all, the staff was friendly, the aquarium was well-kept and clean and my time there was well spent in both time and money.

I love the Greater Cleveland Aquarium. Every time I'm in the Cleveland area I visit the Aquarium. My nieces and nephews absolutely love it, they could spend all day there. I don't mind paying the admission price (I see a lot of people complaining.) You have to keep in mind that money doesn't just go into their pockets. The money goes to help fund research projects, and conservation efforts.
