Actually a pretty nice mall, not quite as new as the Beachwood Mall, but overall a pretty great place. Everyone we talked to seemed to be very friendly and the sale staff in most stores was not very pushy. There are quite a few stores that sell local items and that was pretty interesting, to be able to give back to the local community by spending money at the local stores. The parking lot was fairly nice, there just needs to be more salt over the parking lot and not just by the front doors.
I'm 49 year's old and Christmas time there is nothing like it was when we where kids. There is nothing there for men anymore. Especially since Sears is gone. I would hate to see it gone let's do something to bring it back. It's a great place !
One of the finest malls in North East ohio. A healthy amount of stores coupled with recent reinvestment by the owners and new business development has made this area explode with hope. The mall is well organized, clean and safe. I shop here weekly!
Not a bad mall. The main draw fro me is the indoor play area fro my kids. When the harsh Cleveland winter hits it is nice to let the kids run and walk the mall.
It's okay. Very nice interior design. Good choice of stores, very clean. Although it's nothing like it was from the eighties until the mid 2000s, it's still a nice place to shop and hang out. My biggest compliant however, would be the decision to put a jewelry store in the food court. Bwah.
Use to be great back in the day. Most of the stores now are closing or I don't have a need for them. Definitely don't like the Planet Fitness or Dick's being there.
We loved out shopping experience at the great lakes mall! Family friendly, They seem to always have free things for the children to do! And loved the heightened security staff, keep the people visiting safer environment for all who visit. I give it a 10.
Mobile Station for cell phone repair is a rip off. Poor customer service, paid over 100.00 dollars to get cracked phone screen fixed and it broke in less than 24 hours. Went back and they would do nothing for me. Please don't waste your money!
When malls across America and the world are closing at rapid rates, Great Lakes Mall is actually growing. They've made many improvements over the years. I haven't seen it look this nice since maybe the early-mid 90s.
There are many stores to choose from. It's clean and well-maintained. This is a good mall to go to if you need to visit multiple stores. The parking is free.
I couldn't be anymore neutral on this mall. It's not the worst mall I've ever seen but it's definitely not in the upper half.
It's a fart mall. There's maybe two places I like to visit when I'm dragged along. Also it's like kid city.
So what I guess I'm saying, if you're like 13 years old and your mother dropped you off because she doesn't want to babysit you and your booger friends, then this mall will be heaven.
It's a nice size mall. It's never overly crowded. My kids love it bc there's all ways extra activities for them to do, like ride the train around the mall & that giant jumping thing
My mom, my sister, and I came here on a road trip yesterday, and in all honestly, I was shocked to see how many stores their were, I feel like there were more stores in the mall than there were listed on the website, I like the way the food court is layed out as well. I had no problem with the customer service at every store I was at, everybody was nice and had manners. I like how they have Windows in the mall, when the sun was shining through them yesterday when I was shopping, I felt good, and it was beautiful, I love the layout of the whole mall! Would definitely come back here! :)
Great Lakes Mall in all honesty SUCKS!! What's a mall without a music store? Same old stores catering to the more upscale people here in Mentor. There isn't any stores that cater to an average size women or even minorities. You want to see a mall go to Columbus or other surrounding areas not this crap.
The mall, its what you expect these days, the same generic stores, but i will say the place is clean and the people are extremely friendly. All the stores we visited seemed to be friendly and professional. Don't forget to get aunt aunties while here. The pizza place by the exit has great pizza!
