It's been awhile since we made the trip to Eastwood. Since the small mall near us has almost been vacated with the closing of major retailers (Sears Macy's) we may make more trips in the future. But that is a good thing because there is a lot stores to shop. One drawback is that in Pennsylvania there are no taxes on clothing while in Ohio there is.
The Eastwood Mall is pretty much like any other mall. It's definitely decent sized but they don't really have a whole lot out of the ordinary. The one awesome thing about this mall is that they have a large aquarium with sharks and fish. My son absolutely loves to go see "Dory" and "Nemo". The food court is again just like any other and actually kind of small for the size of the mall itself. There is lots of parking available and there are plenty of entrances into the complex. Another cool thing is the Tilt arcade that you can access through the mall during regular hours and the arcade is open beyond mall hours you just have to enter and exit through their outside doors.
I love this place! It's got a ton of great stores and they have a super cool aquarium with sharks and other really neat fish. There is also a nice little area for the children to play. They have a great Santa too. They were voted top mall to shop in ohio by USA today.
Warm interior with plenty of space to walk in a group. A large array of stores that add interest for all age ranges and genders. They have a small aquarium with light games for younger children. The food court has a good selection of food, like Pizza Mexican Asian and Subway. It's hot plenty of seating and the bathrooms have many stalls and are also clean.
It's alright, they do have great stores. The only issue is that anyone under the age of 18 (at least I think it's 18) isn't allowed on the premises after 10:00 PM. This is a new rule that they implemented just last year because of some"issues". But other than that little road bump, this place is a great place to go do your shopping. Only a few of the stores charge more at these locations than what they do at other locations.
So many places to shop here!
If your in the area & are looking to do some shopping or just looking for somewhere to go & something to do because of rain or cold weather, there is always something to do here.
Kids love checking out the aquarium, various types of sharks, other salt water fish. Look closely and you may even find Nemo & Dori!
Want to act like a kid again or let the kids be kids? Check out Tilt Studio, Dr. Very's play place (parents can sit & watch the kids while you charge you phone - provided you have a charger with you)
So much to see and do!
They are honestly trying to reinvent this dinosaur and it seems to be working. The stores are not bad at all and there is ample dining and entertainment. It's probably a C mall by retail standards but still a great staple in our area. Honestly lucky to have it.
I love the Eastwood mall. Been going there since I was 15 years old. My favorite part is the Fish Tanks! I could stand there and watch all day! Although I'm upset about Rue 21 leaving
HomeTown Buffet after a funeral service was wonderful. Everyone was so courteous and polite. We were able to have a good time and enjoy each other's company. The food was really good, lots of choices for everyone of all ages.
Everything there you can imagine. But, the Buffalo Wild Wings suck. Food and customer service. Our order was all kinds of messed up. We didn't get what we ordered. Parmesan garlic and bourbon honey mustard is what we ordered. We receive received SPICY Garlic and who know what but it wasn't honey mustard. We called the manager on duty and he nothing but a smart ass calling my husband and liars. Just Wow.and you're a manager. Good luck with that attitude buddy!!!! I will never recommend this establishment to anyone.
I only come to the mall if I have to. You have to pay for their Wi-Fi few want to use it while you're there. Some of the prices in their stores are outrageous. When you spray perfume on at Macy's the sales women look at you like you're a thief. I go in there to get my necklace cleaned at Kings and then I get out
You can find pretty much anything you need here. Lots of diverse stores to meet everyone's needs.
Great place love to take my son there walk around and look at the aquarium. Something for everyone!
This place was very convenient, as it was attached to my hotel. It was raining a few days during my stay so I was able to walk through the corridor without having to get out in the rain and get a nice meal at Firebird's restaurant. They have an arcade in the mall with a Tilt a whirl!!!!!
We love this mall. We go almost every weekend to do our Shopping. Has everything you need. Great atmosphere. A playpen, train as well as an aquarium for kids. Great family oriented mall with great food to eat as well.
