Same as the Great Dane that's downtown, but much larger/ spacious. Really big space with the same great food and drinks. Cool atmosphere, and located in the Hilldale shopping center. If you want to take a large group/ party to the Great Dane- I would suggest making a reservation here instead of at the other location.
Stopped in for lunch. My wife and I both enjoyed a bowl of brown ale onion soup. I had a nice salad with it and she had the chicken wrap which was ok. (Neither of us are big wrap fans) The stone scone scotch ale is great! Have a pint!
I was visiting Madison and stopped in here on my sisters recommendation. It was a fantastic stop with the best brat burger I have ever tasted, My wife and I both enjoyed the cheese curds and the service was excellent. I was very happy here and plan on visiting again when I am in the area
Very good food. Lots of good drunk choices. I like the Pecks Pilsner beer.
Food is typical Midwestern fare - top of the coronary hit list. Very tasty and huge portions.
One of my favorite places to eat in Madison when I come to visit my son and his family. If I lived here I would be a regular and I would weigh 300+ pounds. Need a good cardiologist if you live here
The food was ok, the pretzel buns are amazing, but I'm mostly giving them a 5 star review for the great service
We went to the Sunday Breakfast Buffet at this location. It's the first we've heard of the event, but we were glad we did. Reasonably priced, there was a lot of options to choose from. You tell them you want the buffet, grab a plate and fill your plate full of great food!
The best tasting items were the cheesy potatoes, breakfast steak that they cut fresh for you and the Tomato Bisque soup. Don't get me wrong. All other items tasted good, but the ones that stood out were those three. I would highly recommend trying this buffet if you get a chance.
Other than the Sunday Buffet, the seating and service was great. Friendly and fast.
horrible burgers. went in at 2pm and they said that they're still serving brunch because thats what the "cooks" are focusing on. i couldnt even finish my meal, horrible time. saw many people leave before i did.
Lovely out door dining brought our dog. Had the tuna salad which was absolutely delicious rest of the kids had chicken wings very good.
We're celebrating a birthday the waitress brought out a nice brownie with a candle took a picture for us marvelous experience definitely will come back
Very tasty food and fantastically friendly, helpful, and efficient service. It's no wonder I had three friends recommend this place when I asked for suggestions on a good dinner place in Madison!!
The food is above average, the service is good, the beer is fine, but it always ends up way more expensive than it would seem.
Good food. Their all you can eat brunch was awesome!
The food here is really great. Lots of variety and most of it is done very well! The cheese curds rock too, and good service.
The atmosphere is good. It's cozy and you can find a decent crowd on game days. The food is okay. You probably aren't going to be totally blown away by anything, but you probably won't be disappointed. The beer is terrible. It's the kind of thing where if your buddy told you they brewed it in a spare closet at home you'd say "hey, that's not half bad" but you wouldn't want to pay for it at a bar. I would love to see even a limited selection of outside beers on tap.
Terrible service!!! Waited 50 minutes for our food. Had to leave to get to our movie. Good thing we had ordered an appetizer. Wait staff was happy to bring our bill before the food. We had to ask to make sure we got our food; they just wanted to take our check and let us go. On top of all that, when they finally did bring the food it was cold, which means they totally had forgotten about it. Unbelievable!!
