Great natural area. Unfortunately, unregulated camping has resulted in garbage and toilet pollution and cutting down of vegetation.

Beautiful pebble beach. 5 or 6 primitive camp sites on the beach. The road into the park is in bad shape. There are absolutely no amenities at this park. No bathrooms, picnic tables etc.

A bit secluded and still fairly pristine. Another evidence of Pure Michigan.

A hidden gem! Quite a way off the main road, but totally worth it!

I have come to this remote location since the early '50's with my family. My dad was a rock hound and the pebble beach here is a fantastic place for rock pickers. A few years ago it was made a county park but there are no picnic tables or bathrooms here (much to my delight). It is as rustic and natural as it was back in the early '50's. They have built a gravel entrance road which makes it a little easier on your vehicle. I hope it stays wild and pristine for generations to come.

Fantastic local beach with lots of ground to cover for rock hounds. The road in is a bit sketchy sometimes but once you're out here you'll appreciate the wide views of Lake Superior.

Stunning views of Lake Superior. A really interesting beach with red granite sand.

It is remote. Long way on dirt roads but worth it. Rock shop gave directions.

There isn't so much as a bathroom, but it's a beautiful place to just walk around. The drive out can he a little rough depending on when it rained last, but it is well worth it. If it's allowed (I'm not sure) it would be a great place to camp.
