Worst place ever to service their own Equipment.
HAVE to go to John Deer just to get new blades put on our bushhog
I recently purchased a second new Kubota tractor from Gordon Tractor.
Good firm to deal with, knowledgeable sales staff and tractor I was looking for was in stock. Prep was done quickly and operation of all
controls was explained thoroughly.
Would recommend Gordon Tractor if you are looking for a Kubota.
I recently purchased a new Land Pride PTO tiller from Cody at Gordon Tractor, he was very helpful with selecting the right model for my needs, even allowed me to exchange for an upgrade to better unit, that meet all my needs. Friendly and courteous service. Enjoy doing buisness with them.
Doing business with Rick @ Gordon Tractor (Live Oak) is always a great experience. Have purchased a couple of tractors and a Kubota side by side. They have the best deals & best service !!! Anytime I've needed my equipment serviced or needed something taken care of through the warrenty; they ALWAYS take care of me right away. Rick and his staff are very professional and knowledgable they make you feel like family !!!! THE BEST ALL AROUND !!!
In December 2015 I contacted Kubota Dealers in NE Florida to take advantage of their 0% financing and $0 dollar down payment special. I live in Jacksonville, FL but have rural property in Hamilton County, FL about 20 miles north of Live Oak, FL. I talked to Kubota Dealers in Jacksonville, Macleny, FL and Gordon Tractor in Live Oak. I decided on Gordon tractor to purchase my Model 3901 complete with front end loader and bush hog and I'm so happy I did. First Ric Gordon was so pleasant to work with and his pricing on the tractor was slightly better than the other dealers. Since Gordon Tractor was the closest dealer to where I would use the tractor I decided to buy from the local dealer. That decision has paid off for me as I often call Ric with simple questions about the operation and maintenance of my tractor and he is always cordial and helpful. He is also very responsive to maintaining the tractor having completed both the 50 hour and 100 hour required maintenance. Since I live 1.5 hours away from my property, I wanted a new and dependable tractor that I could count on for the expanding uses I find around my property. It has been an added benefit to have a responsive and dependable Kubota Dealer so close by. I would recommend anyone considering a Kubota tractor to talk to Ric before you make a decision on what dealership you buy from.
I had an exceptional experience dealing with Gordon tractor. From start to finish during the purchase process it was pleasant and easy. I was able to trade in my Deere and bought a Kubota after test driving it and going over the specs. Even offered free delivery of the tractor Deere didn't do that. Currently all I can talk about is the buying process but it was phenomenal. I hope servicing the tractor will be as great. If so they will have a life long, loyal customer. Thank you guys again at Gordon Tractor I will update later with additional info during the service process and warranty work.
Have had several bad experiences with Gordon tractor, when in market to buy new tractor this time I drove to Valdosta and was going to buy from them, Dealer there said Kubota does not like dealers to step on each others feet and said I may have a hard time getting service at other dealers if I dont buy from them. I sat down with owner at Gordon tractor Rick and explained why I was originally not going to buy another tractor with him, he was apoligetic and stated it would not happen again. I bought insurance on tractor at time of purchase and have had a pretty bad mishap with it recently. Guy in shop has had every excuse in book why it was taking so long, almost 9 weeks. I would continually check on tractor and it would be sitting outside in same spot. Was told they are swamped and several times I would go up there they would be putting new equipment together to put on the lot. Then I get the tractor back and still has issues. I was orig told they were going to replace part of loader and got there to pick it up and it was not replaced, I was told it was straight and they put a straight edge on it, but could see obviously bent. If you want a new piece of equipment they will be glad to sell it to you but be prepared to be kicked in the ass on the way out the door after spending your hard earned money there!
Well, I have to say I'm a little upset with the service that we've experienced. We purchased a 2016 Gravely zero turn lawnmower. The owner was very helpful in the purchase process however, once we signed the papers he told us to give him a call and let him know when it reached 20 hours and he would send someone to pick up the lawnmower to service it (oil change & sharpen the blades) once we reached the 20 hours we called in for 2 WEEKS trying to get someone to pick it up. They said they had been slammed and every time we would call they would say ok we will be there tomorrow and NEVER SHOW. FINALLY, they showed up 2 weeks after I had been calling to pick it up. well here it is 12 days from the date of pick up to do THE OIL CHANGE AND SHARPEN THE BLADES and we still don't have our lawn mower. I gave them a full week before I even called to check on it, when I did call she said they have been swamped! Live Oak is too damn small to treat the people that spend their hard earned $$$$$ with you at your business this way. I'm very disappointed in the way we have been treated after spending almost $7,000.00 in your store! I understand that everyone gets busy and things get delayed but for it to take 2 weeks to pick up a lawn mower and then almost 2 weeks to service it is a bit ridiculous (ESPECIALLY when I live 3 miles from the location) when I called today she said that we should be getting our mower back by Wednesday. We shall see. I MIGHT get it back before summer is over! We are not happy with the service we have received and we WILL NOT be bringing our mower in for service in the future! If it needs repairs and they are covered under warranty we will seek another dealer to do the work.
