Nice place. Was more relaxed when I was there compared to others.

Big poker room but a bad staff for the most part. Where you go to slum it up in Black Hawk. Avoid their table games.

The golden gates is the nut glutch of blackhawk. You will find service ranging from the one time rez to the occasional ciggarette run. Cousin screech and scum nit will tell. For the glory.

Not fancy but the poker room is always busy and they have some interesting beers.

The staff is friendly, reasonable, and the food at the cafe is really good and well priced as casino food should be. This is the place that got me to start tipping and the only place I regularly do, because they do a great job. The poker tournaments fun, affordable, and one of your best bets in a casino.

It's a casino how could you not give it 5 stars. It is for entertainment purposes only you win some you lose some, but as far as entertaining I feel like they do it extremely well.

Definitely a tourist trap. I had fun made a little money. The restaurant sucked big time. Don't go for the food!

Played blackjack today. Dealer forgot to burn a card and didn't call the floor or anything even when I asked if their supposed to burn a card. The dealer just ignored my question. Not somewhere I can ever see myself playing again. I reccomend playing somewhere else. Talked to a floor person today on the phone who said there's usually nothing they can do about it when it happens and it's a courtesy to push a hand or kill the deck because of their own dealers error. There's a lot of casinos up here that treat there guests better / more fair when dealers make errors that change the occurance of the cards. I can't see myself buying in a thousand dollars here and playing blackjack all day due to their poor professionalism.

I enjoyed my experience at this casino. It's small enough that it doesn't have that "sprawling" feel, but it is large enough to have several table games and a wide variety of slots. The Full House cafe inside of it has great, fresh burgers. The service can be a bit slow at times, though.
