I have been a member of this Gold's for about 2 years. I enjoy the staff, Unfortunately, due to physical issues I have not attended in monthsI was thinking of switching to another gym. I compared reviews on both and have decided to stay with Golds. Keep in mind all gyms must push for members, contracts, training sessions. That is how they stay in business.. I found Gold's to be less intrusive and were very helpful.Jake is my trainer and I absolutely enjoy my sessions with him.

After starting my membership was charged ridicoulous fees. I am told by my bank that they were paid have all my statements prooving so. Every time i asked i am told its a maintenance fee of 40 dollars when asked why is 50 dollars taken oh sorry its a late fee of 19.50 which doesn't add up to what was taken out to begin with. This happenened twice. Called and was told they no longer have a manager on duty and they would pass my message on to i have no clue who. Shady practices now i am told i can't cancel my account even though they voided it by over charging me and not having a manager on duty. They can charge your card but can't put back the money they took. Hhhmm straight theives word of advice people check your invoices.

There was once a time when I was kicked out for falsely being accused for training people with no evidence to prove that so I was skeptical about coming back. But I must give credit where credit is due the staff is MUCH BETTER. There is one in particular that really stands out and his name is BARRY. he is very friendly helpful and polite. He always seems to be in a good mood and greets everyone every day. He is always re racking weights and going the extra mile for the members. He even gave me a coupon for chipotle and gave me a golds gym wrist band. These kind acts really make difference in my opinion of this gym. BARRY consistently amazes me with his customer service skills and he definitely deserves the credit.
