Amazing location! Nice views. Good wilderness feel even though you're pretty much still within populated city areas. A perfect spot for festivals and events. Camping area is real nice. The water area is perfect for summertime events.

Yes first time on Easter Sunday. Park was nice every thing great but thousands of people only one one rest room lady's in line by the 20s not cool. Other than that nice park.

I came here to see Primus and Tool last year and I had a wonderful (almost..psychedelic) experience. I was here with my dad and my really awesome brother since we like to go to at least one concert together each summer. The surrounding area is beautiful, especially in the evening light. It's an easy place to navigate and concessions weren't too overpriced. I have to say, parking was a little inconvenient. We got lost on our way back to the car and it took us a little while to figure out where it was. Other than that, the audio was wonderful. We were sitting on the lawn behind the seating area and we heard it all very well. There was some moshing during Primus and crowd surfing during Tool, but the audience was fine overall. What an awesome place!

Today is Mar 8 2018! Yesterday my son and I went fishing there from 12 noon until closing! It was extremely bad for fishing, even though they've claimed that Trout were stocked back on Feb 25 2018!!!
Every Trout anglers with me had no action at all!
I've moved around to multiple spots! I've cast far into the middle of the pond! I've cast just 5-feet right in front of the water weeds in front of me! I've used all colors of PowerBait nuggets, Trout Magnets, Trout Worms! And still nothing!!!
Glen Helen, are you guys really sure it was stocked?!?! 😕
In closing, so stay away all of my Angler brothers & sisters! 😤😡ðŸ˜
However, if you just want to go there and do "everything else" then by all means go. That park is an excellent choice, guys 😉🤗😎response / report this review -

Get ready to drive over a dirt path filled with rocks! But the concert space was quite enjoyable. It's hilly, so it means a good workout.

Good place for concerts. Lots of room. Sound is ok. Lots of food options. They don't let you in with water but they provide free one once you're in. Also sunscreen is not allowed, but you can get it from the medical tent. Lots of parking.

A beautiful place to see a show. Sincerely enjoyed my visit. The views from the park are fantastic, mountains. The It's Not Dead Fest was killer! Great venue. As a tip though, definitely pay for the preferred parking got out of there in five minutes. Heed my warning!

I am VERY disappointed with the Glen Helen Pavilion. I recently attended the Sammy Hagar concert, and, because I showed up later in the evening, was denied entry by a security guard because there wasn't anyone available to scan my ticket. Security ensured the concert was ending sooner than originally planned because a band had cancelled, and that Sammy Hagar was just finishing his set. However, I counted 7 more songs. Tickets are nonrefundable, with no exception.

The park is great and would get 5* if it wasn't that we stayed at the camping grounds and that wasn't so great.
The park is beautiful, clean, well kept and very large so it's easy to find a quiet spot. The lake is pretty and clean; fishing is allowed but no swimming. There is a whole water park there too but we didn't go. It's too bad we can't write 2 separate reviews. Camp site users get free entry to the park, just need to get a pass from the parking booth at gate 1 of the park.
The camp grounds is a different story than the park. They have some sites with hookups and others without. We took one with because they told us the no hookup don't have any shade. Well, the ones with hookup don't have much shade either. The ground is dirt, not very comfortable with a tent. The place is nestled between 2 major freeways, a highway and railroad tracks that have trains at night. First we thought it was helicopters flying by, it took us a while to figure out the noise comes from trains. The place is super noisy, earplugs may not be enough for light sleepers. There are lots of red ants, the picture of the foot is a bite from one of those fiery bugs. Other that the bathrooms were clean and the place kept up. Showers are $1.00 for 5 minutes. The thing we really didn't like is the dragon lady in charge of the grounds. The first night she came up to us saying hi, I'm the grounds manager, who are you? The next morning she barked at us for letting our dog loose in a large area with no one around. We don't like unfriendly people when we are camping (or any other time for that matter).response / report this review -

Great place to stop for the water park they have. Seasonal. 2 waterslides, water play pad, and wading pool to cool off in. Come early so you get in. Closes when water park is full. Can bring easy ups, BBQ okay outside of park. Plenty of places by water park to setup your spot by the water park fence. Will see many doing this, park near fence, setup stuff, get wrist bands for those going in, different color if too small for waterslides. Can check height at gate, I believe it's 42", not 100% sure. Park is $10 for parking, then have to pay for the water park. Recommend get here before 12:00pm.

What can I say my kids love this place been to the water park 6 times this summer. Little pricy however they have increase there prices from 5 dollars to 9 per person. You can barbecue but you have to stay outside of the park not indoor. Yoh can bring a cooler with food. Just no glass container or beer.

Huge venue. Love that events here have free parking options, that there are plenty of bathrooms and vendors. The lawn seating is also a consumer friendly option; even if the views aren't great, it's fun enjoying the show from the lawn with tons of people.

They get some great acts. The road in and out is not really well set up for the amount of traffic is gets, although CHP does a great job at managing it; the roadside parking attendants less so; it's really hard to get them to direct you to ADA parking. More than that, though, the exiting process to get back to parking is super claustrophobic.
The portos at the top of the lawn are great for half the day, and then they get frightening.
And $7.50 for a bottle of water in 100℉ heat is just obnoxious when you're only allowed to bring in 40oz of your own.response / report this review
