So Serene peaceful and beautiful it's magnificent to see the animals in nature the beautiful trees the beautiful fresh air the mountains the perfect Sky the way nature and the world used to be many many many many years ago before man stepped foot and began destroying everything. Quick getaway with a memorable experience. The staff's super friendly and provide excellent customer service. The tram ride is inexpensive and fun.

This place is so amazing! Went in January and it was 75 at the bottom and 35 up top. The views are incredible and the ride up is unreal! Not good if you have a fear of heights, but if not, it's incredible! Worth every penny

What a great experience traveling up the tramway to 8015 ft. A spectacular view going up and down with the rotating tram. Lots to do at the top with dining, films, hiking and photo ops. Be sure to plan on the temperature being 45 degrees cooler than the valley floor. We went from 76 to 31 on top. Lots of people were not prepared for the cold, including us.

AMAZING VIEW - AND A COOLING HIKE. Plan ahead on busy days to make sure you get a tram ticket - which is the only way to get here. Ride to the top and enjoy the small museum, restaurant and cafe at the top. But the real enjoyment is Mount San Jacinto state park - the park at the top of the mountain. The two small hikes within are easy for families (not technical at all) - even for strollers. The tall tress, cool mountain air and small patches of snow as late as April/May make for a cool, comfortable day at the top of the mountain 10,000 feet above the rest of Palm Springs.

Fantastic SP. Great view, great (although not the easiest) hikes, pleasant weather. Rangers are extremely nice, friendly, helpful people. Highly recommended.

It was a major accomplishment to complete the steep/rocky hike to the summit peak. This trail is also steep & somewhat grueling on the descent (our total time~7.5 hrs).
♥The magnificent 360 view from the peak, microclimate cool fresh air, squirrels running, birds chirping, lots of friendly people & a family of deer sighting going down was worth it all❗

I hiked the area reached by the Palm Springs aerial tramway, which starts at over 8000 feet, in July. Ambient temperature is a good 30 degrees cooler than Palm Springs, a welcome relief from that 100++ heat! Trails are easy to follow, and maps are available from a ranger station, showing easy to moderately strenuous hikes. A great getaway. Beware, no potable water available apart from the ranger station and the team station.

Went up the tram and did some day hiking with the family. Had a great trip and it was 20 degrees cooler up at the top. There was still snow on the ground so we did not get to hike as far as we wanted but still a fun day

Every camp site hidden private space, surrounded by pine trees. Near by miles of nature trails up and down the mtn. Tiny town with nice shops and classy restaurants.

A beautiful State Park, not too far from my neighborhood. I highly recommend visiting this park at least a couple of times. One of the times that you come here, you should take the tram. Awesome experience!

First time taking Palm Spring Tram up and the experience was great. The view was spectacular. It was still snow when we up there and had a nice snowy hike. The great way to get some cold, clear breeze in Palm Spring.
