Good food, decent atmosphere. Been going there since I was a kid, a bit nostalgic.
Great food and service. Never disappointed.
Just called on my way home from work to order a stromboli for pick-up. The person that answered the phone stated it comes with steak, cheese, mushrooms, onions and green peppers. When I asked for no mushrooms, onions or green peppers but sweet peppers instead i was told there would be an extra charge! So, even though I was removing 3 other items from the stromboli, there are no substation so I get an extra charge? What a racket! I'll go to Vinnys instead.
I used to go to Giuseppe's quite frequently when I lived in the area and it was always good. I stopped in today for a late lunch and it was just as good as I remember. The server was very prompt with taking our order, food was excellent, and the portions were amazing. For their $6.99 lunch special, you got two slices of pizza, fries and a pretty big fountain drink. That's not bad for a local place. Can't wait to be back in the area and hit them up again.
Great place for Monday Night Football specials
Always good pizza and steaks, and love their pizza buffet for monday night football! Lots of diffrent pizza that is endless!
I was there 2 days ago and had a great Pizza and a wonderful chicken parm platter it was just right and there great spaghetti with butter to die for and the staff was wonderful made me feel like a part of the family I give this place a 5 out of 5 because it is amazing I will be goin back there before I go anywhere else I would highly recommend it to my family and friends
While visiting my Mom a few weeks ago, I made the huge mistake of stopping in here to grab a six pack of Angry Orchard. The young man checking me out had trouble locating my birthdate on my passport (I'm 32 but admittedly look young), and turned to a heavy older man with grey hair for help. The older man shot me a dirty look (!) and told the young man to refuse my passport as ID (!!!), insisting I show a driver's license. Mouth agape, I told him that I don't have one, since I don't drive. He scoffed and asked "Why?". Rather than offer up the full list of personal reasons that I don't drive (because I live and work in one of the largest US cities with a robust public transit system, because my bicycle is excellent daily exercise, because I don't want to contribute any further to congestion, pollution, and global warming), I told the grumpy pizza proprietor that because I have a US Passport as ID, I don't need a license, and have used this to purchase alcohol many times inside and outside the US. I was then told that a passport "isn't valid ID and I need a drivers license to buy alcohol in PA". Stunned at his ignorance and lack of basic reasoning skills, I insisted this was incorrect. I explained that a passport supersedes a drivers license in the hierarchy of legal identification at a state and federal level. After arguing about how absolutely wrong this was, and being forced to pull up documentation on my phone, he then proceeds to say "that doesn't matter, in Giuseppe's, I'm God". Yes, that's actually what he said. I never thought I'd be meeting God in a pizza shop in Lansdale, but I guess Joan Osborne wrote a song about that. Had I known I'd been meeting Him that day, I would have at least blow out my hair and put on some slacks!
By this point I was enraged by this man's attitude, treatment of a customer, and desire to disregard the law and manufacture his own, so I offered to call someone who was a higher legal authority than even His Holiness himself to mediate the situation.
He sold me the cider with extreme displeasure. I debated leaving without a purchase, but I refused to back down from the Minister of Marinara, his earthly embodiment of our Oven-Baked Lord and Grease-Fried Savior.
As a restaurant and business, this place receives zero stars. But as a house of worship, this is a solid single star! Their hours are more expansive than your local church, and their offers expand beyond wine and communion. The God leaves much to be desired, but no one is perfect, right? Wait
I go here often with my family. Very good food and service. Very affordable.
Great pizza, cheese steaks, and Burgers. But I do remember time when a waitress accidentally spilled a big hot bowl of monserela sauce on my friend. But all is forgiven because she was super nice and the meal was super good.
I come here once a week with friends and the waitress we have is amazing. They get my pieroghies just right!
