This place is just okay.. It's hit or miss based on who's cooking too.. Sometimes the food and pizza can be good.. Other times awful.

The defensive rant and ridiculous plug opportunity the owner has taken seems I have hit a nerve.. And I completely disagree with her as I know plenty of people in the area who complain about the consistency of the pizza and food in general.. As far as the pizza being best in the area that's laughable.. It's not even on the same level as the papa Gino's pizza chain.. Never mind any specialty shops in the area.

We have NEVER been disappointed at Giuseppe' s. The food, service, live music, atmosphere and price are TOPS all around. There isnt a restaurant in area that comes close to the near perfect dining experience. We live over 3 hours away and look forward to visiting Giuseppe' s.

The place is often crowded, and extremely noisy. Once a chair back broke, and staff snickered at my challenging kids, and seemed to watch us like we were an entertaining show. The steak fries are extremely good, and that the only reason I go there anymore and I always get them for take out. I gave up eating in all together. The prices are expensive don't expect to leave, without paying $20-$30 a meal, or more. I'm vegan, so there isn't much to eat besides the steak fries. I think I got a salad once, and I was very unimpressed. Shaws supermarket, makes better take out salads, than ANY restaurant salad I've wver had. Most restaurants put 2-3 veggies on lettuce, and call it a salad. Also, NO restaurant, ever cuts out the romaine lettuce spines/stalk/vein, whatever you call the thick center of the lettuce. Half the salad ends up being those which I won't eat. I don't like onions or tomatoes, the #1 two veggies they put on the lettuce. So often times, I end up paying $4.95-$6.95 for a bowl of lettuce and TINY cup of dressing. It's not worth it, and isn't a salad or a meal. Shaw's puts lettuce, cucumber, red cabbage, radishes, peppers, tomatoes & onions (which I pick off freeze and blend for my own home made soup) and peas. I ad vegan cheeze & croutons, and even without the onions and tomatoes picked off, it's still a worthy salad. I get 3 servings out of the huge $5 salad. That's $1.66 per salad! So, going to a restaurant to eat a salad never crosses my mind anymore because they just don't compare. I'm very sensitive to noise and this place is WAY too noisy. There's virtually always waiting to get in, so I guess many people like it anyway.

Best mix of family dining and night life in NH IMO (in my opinion). It can get rowdy after midnight. It looks like more like a police state than a restaurant after about 10pm on a weekend night.

I called late morning to make a reservation for 13 people that night. The hostess on the phone proceeded to say they had a reservation open at 7:45pm. I said great, thank you. She then asked if we could split the tables to 8 and 4- I said no problem but it will actually be 8 and 5 because we are a party of 13 not 12. She then proceeded to tell me they no longer had room for ONE more person. I said we could squeeze because a bunch were kids still proceeded to say she couldn't make the reservation. We go here almost every weekend. way to lose some loyal customers.

Went to Giuseppe's for the first time for dinner on July 4th. It was getting busy and we didn't have a reservation, but they somehow were able to seat our large party (10+) very quickly. Our sever was attentive and our food came out of the kitchen faster than expected - we kept it simple with pizzas and salads and it was all freshly prepared and tasty. Overall: good food and drinks and a nice atmosphere - definitely worth a visit if you're in Meredith.

Often go here during winter months, never disappoint. Reasonable, good food, great staff. Nightly specials change and they keep up with posting on their page daily. Live entertainment.

Coming from NY/NJ I'd consider myself a sort of pizza connoisseur. It's hard to find good pizza that's authentic Italian/comparable to NY in MA or worse NH. Ordered the Giuseppe special large pizza and spinach feta rolls. I'd give it five stars. Been disappointed so many times before I was surprised. I'll be back next time I'm in NH!
