Being a business owner myself leaving nasty reviews and ugly comments about another person's business is not something that I like to do but General Motors are very slow & unprofessional. General Motors had my Dodge Durango now for 4 weeks and my car still hasn't been repaired so a gentleman called me today and told me to come pick up my car he no longer wants to do business with me because I came to the shop and demanded them to put a rush on my car I was not nasty nor rude but that's the report the shop owner told my husband when he called him today, who has money to pay week after week on a rental car then has to pay the mechanic $1,053.00 & the shop owner want reimbursement you, I called the shop every 4 days to get an update on the repairs and each time they will tell me it would be done tomorrow evening, it will be done Monday it will be done. then on top of that when I came to the shop to get my car on Friday the car mechanic told me that another car mechanic went out of town and took my keys with him???so I wasn't able to get my car. I chose General Motors because I heard they get the job done but this was the worst experience I have had with a car mechanic and I will not be going there again and would not recommend anyone to go there

Worst company ever .don't go there.they had.my radio was taken,my battery was taken,my car was there for 3 months, and all that was wrong was the starter was loose and needed new screws.with a bill that says $15 for parts but a charge of $265.00 for labor.they put a old battery in the car that was too small that they jerry river with screws to make it fit.the battery caught fire .my father in law said a wire from the battery they left touching the starter..AVOID THIS SHOP AT ALL COST.

Very reliable ! I was having problem after problem with my Ford Taurus and kept taking it to another guy at Woodstock and was constantly having to get work done so i switched up and came to general automotives and the guy diagnosed my car one time and gave me a reasonable price fixed the problem one and i didnt have any more problems . i ended up coming back again because i was so satisfied with the job before and they fixed another problem i was having and worked with me on the price and ive been very pleased with work ! They even told me about potential problems i may have with my car so that i know what to be looking for if something else happens and to give me the heads up so that i can get the problem taken care of before it becomes a hassle. I was very satisfied with both visits and haven't had to go back since ! Plus they get your vehicle in and out in a resonable time frame . very respectful people !

worst experience ever, i wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy,wait yes i would but anywho, i had a motor replaced in my truck from them for $2700. it was a waste of money and time when i pick up my truck no freon my air and working when i brough it to then my radio was also working fine when i brought it to them but when i left from down there it was round the time they was closing so i notice these things i called no aswer cause they were close i waited the next day and told them about my radio and air blowing hot the motor smoked a lot they tell me its just old oil burning off they tell it'll go away in a couple days when i drive , wanst buying that at all i wanted a second opinion because hey it is $2700 i got invested so i took it to express they tell me bad heads and oil leaked around heads, and if express oil change fix it im going to be out of$4500 HELL NO so i took the invoice back to general automotive the guy tells me express oilchange dont know nothing its just a little leak it aint go hurt nothing tehy was just stalling passed the warranty date now that's not good because the motor i had to replace had head issues so i took it back to general automotive they tell me its passed the warranty date they cant do nothing about it now i'm stuck with a motor with bad heads and didn't last a year if you going to get your motor replace DON'T GO TO GENERAL AUTOMOTIVE have it rebuild or get it new ,lesson learn for me dealing with shade tree mechanics
