Sign outside reads experienced cooks wanted. That should have been first warning. I have tried to like this place being a local restaurant. Both times we all got stuck. Fish n chips was very greasy. They hadn't changed over their oil. The fish was dark and greasy and no flavor. The pasta dish fettucini Alfredo was presented in a bowl like soup. Never seen so much tasteless Alfredo sauce over pasta. Flatbread pizza was nasty. Whatever sauce they use its awful. Doesn't taste like pizza sauce. Complained to owner. Was given a $30 gift card to try again. Will never go back. They definitely need to find good cooks like the sign said outside. The parking lot is always packed but it's mainly for the bar. Go to Turks down the road. They are always consistent. 👎
Had the best eggplant fries there. The cook made me a steak bomb sub which wasn't on the menu. It was good. Server was friendly and accommodating.
Great food. The size of the menu scared me at first because no one can make all those things well but I've tried something from every part and it's all good from the pizza to the seafood everything was a hit.
This place a little ride but worth it. Food large portions and really good. Specials served after 4. Half price.!!. Never had a bad meal.
Quick lunch with 3 friends. It was busy but we were served promptly and quick.
We had sandwiches and salads plus drinks. Everything was fine.
Fantastic. Lots of options and super kid friendly. Food was great. Found this place with a Google search after spending the day at Edaville. A 15 minute ride from the park. I highly recommend it.
Wait for about 10 min just so the hostess to finish talking to another waitresses before taking my name. She only told me to go wait in the other room and even told me about how long. When my party was called we were walked to our table where a some employee thru menus on the table then turned around and left. About 5-10 min later our waitress showed, who was polite and pretty good, (that's how they got their second star).
The food was not good at all. They should consider reducing the size of their menu (about 50-75 I on the one I saw) and concentrate on better food quality. Plus hiring a polite hostesses. Not to mention, stop serving stale chips with their salsas.
Will not go back unless forced to!
First time visiting, food was excellent. Had Portuguese style haddock for 17.99. Sat outside on a covered deck overlooking a marsh and pond on a beautiful sunny day. Service was great. Nothing bad to say.
Good food, great atmosphere, reasonable prices. Mostly locals here and can be very crowded at dinner time. Gateway Tavern is also a good place to take a date. The food is delicious! It's easy to understand why both the bar and restaurant were packed.
Arguably one of the best in town. Great service and food.
Great menu, excellent food and a good value! Highly recommended!
Great apps. Half price. At certain times can't beat it
The food is amazing here. I liked that the waiter was friendly and very attentive. Also I was happy there was so many entrees to choose from in the menu.
Not so good anymore We have been coming for years, but it has lost its touch. Lobster roll used to be great. Now its small and bland and pricey. The fish tacos were also bland. The fish was not warm and crispy. Fries were soggy. Waitress was slow and inconsistent. We hoped for better. May give one more chance. Otherwise a legend has been lost. It once was new England's best lobster roll. :(
