This place is the local spot for beer and wine. Best prices around and a massive selection of great craft beer. Don't waste your time or money any place else.

Best selection for craft beers in all of new england (that I'm aware of). They always try to keep the most competitive prices and have the best end of season sale. Recently, they had Red Hook Summer for $11.99 a case (yea, 24 bottles!!).
They've moved to 2 different locations (the town of Portsmouth is building a car garage at their current location), but they've tried to accommodate everyone. A small shop just down the street from their current location, and another one, almost as large as the original store, on the Rte 1 bypass north bound off the circle.

Strange little convenience store with tons of beer.

There are fridges and 6 packs just like any other beer store, but if you walk further in, there are boxes of beer stacked up on pallets that fill up the entire unfinished, back portion of the store. If you are looking for something different, check it out.

Only downside is that the staff is unfriendly and last time I was there, they were having an argument as they were checking out customers at the register.
