  They did try so this is not a bad review.
  The food is always excellent, the only reason I'm giving three stars is the service was mediocre. I know today it's hard to get employees and the front desk personnel did try to help us as much as she could to assist the waitress but in my opinion the owners could try better and if necessary they could show up and lend a hand to improve this problem till it's fixed.

  Garcia's offers a clean, inviting environment with delicious food, great drinks, and fast service. Definitely recommend this place for dining. My boyfriend and I loved it. Jessica was our server and she was great!

  Good fresh food. Sweet tea is pretty good. Very clean and friendly staff. Very large portions and very reasonably priced.

  First time eating at this place & well I'm sorry to say this to you Baby A's but i found me a New Permanent place to enjoy some Tortilla Soup @ Garcia's Mexican Restaurant in Bastrop!!! Best Tortilla Soup Ever!!! Perfect flavor & Look forward to coming back for more soon plus to try out more food!!! Staff is awesome & the place is clean!

  Bean and cheese nachos were the perfect afternoon snack on a hot Texas afternoon. Ice tea tasted good but my glass was never filled after the first glass. They have a sign that says they are low staffed but there were 4 wait staff for 3 tables. I'd say that is enough staff to keep beverages full!!
