In not quite a throwback to the 1980's, my kids have to come to enjoy the GameTime located at the Indian River Mall in Vero Beach. Old fashion game tokens and "tickets" if you win, make sure you put a $20 bill into the token machine for "bonus" tokens. A quarter each, but 100 tokens for $20, your kids will have 25% more fun.
Overall a clean place and friendly staff. Only "complaint" is the occasional broken machine - something you might not learn until after you put tokens into the machine. With three kids, 7, 7, and 11, this can become frustrating at times. Air hockey is a plus as the better your kids are at playing the game, the longer your twenty lasts.
"Tickets" can be traded for candy or little trinkets at the end of your visit. They can also be collected between visits and saved for a bigger prize later on.
Located in the food court section of the Indian River Mall, close to the restrooms and water fountains. Mall location provides tons of parking.
